Hi all :)

I have a GG Slim on the way since I haven't had a good experience with the cheap $5-$20 ecigs. 5/7 have failed in only a few weeks, and I just dont trust them in my pocket for long periods of time, and I admire Imeo's dedication and passion he puts into each GG. Seems he is a bit of a perfectionist like me :D

The GG is expensive, but its worth it judging by all the positive comments here :) I'd rather buy one high quality eCig rather than 100 unreliable ones with cheap switches and inconsistent threading and draw quality.

When I first started vaping, I was very surprised that Cartomizers burnt out when the liquid went dry. I couldn't understand why no one has created a two piece eCig that simply stops vaping when there is no liquid left. That burnt cotton can't be good for you.

From what I've gathered, the AFS/AVS on the larger GG's seem to be what I've been looking for, but not really suitable for portability.

A few questions:

1) When the AFS/AVS runs out of liquid, what happens exactly? Does the Atty burn at all? Or does it just stop vaping? (I've only used cartos so far)

2) When the GG Slim AVS comes out, I imagine you would need to buy a few of them if you wanted to vape different flavors at work. (unfilling and cleaning them would be a hassle at work).
If you remove the AVS, will the liquid stay inside? Can you just put it in your pocket?

3) Any chance of a quick refill hole on the side where you can push the tip of the bottle in through a rubber push valve, and squeeze the liquid in? (The rubber valve would pop back into place when the bottle tip is removed, so liquid can't escape)

4) If you have the SuperSlim extension, can you use two standard alkaline 1.5v batteries in an emergency? (10440's seem very rare)

5) Any update on when the Slim AVS will be available? (I realize Imeo is busy, no rush)

Hi my new friend K2.

Ok, lets start from the last question

5. I cant say the estimate time right now

4. yes you can with an LR atomizer

3. No reason for this because the cap of the AFS is quick to unscrew it and refill, exactly like the hole you said.

2. The liquid can stay inside but 2-3 drops will come out. But I can make an update for this, its easy.

1. Atty burns at all. But you will un derstand what is going on because of the burn taste you will have in mouth and because it will not produce smoke.

I hope I helped:)

Hi Imeo,

Yes you are very helpful :)

1. Thats ok. At least we can easily remove the cap to see how much liquid is inside.

2. That would be great if it was leak proof. Many people will use the AVS like a normal Cartomizer away from home.

3. An extra 2 seconds won't hurt.

4. Thats good news.

5. No worries, quality demands time and effort.

Looking forward to using the Slim, thanks for a great product :)

The AVS is very portable. I take mine out all the time. Wouldn't leave home without it! It is really a matter of adjustment. When you are first starting out the big mods seem huge but after using one for a while they really are not that big. I find it a pain when those little batteries die. Why not take one with you that will last the whole day?

The normal sized KR808D-1 Battery lasts me all the working day and goes flat on the way home, so the 10440 battery should be perfect for me.

Does the big AVS or AFSv2 fit on the GG Slim?

Which parts would I need exactly?

AVS, NO, AFS would fit but probably nt work that great with one 10440 Batt, maybe if you got the EXT slim kit and ran it at 7.4 it would work better or an LR Atty with extra Batts on hand to swap em out when they go dead, but really it's mean for the bigger GG Mods, maybe Imeo will make a smaller sleeker one for the Slim someday I don't know
