I have been using a turbo cart on the AVS and aside from low level leakage (maybe .5ml a day) it seems to work OK. I seem to get substantially less vapor than I did before the AVS though.

Anyone experienced a large vapor drop off using the carto in the AVS? I'm thinking it could be related to the leaking, it seems to be leaking straight down through the air feed tube that connects to the underside of the carto, not from the oring seal.

I checked and it doesnt look like the carto is overfilled at all, half the time the top is completely dry and it can be difficult to get the juice up in there, I am thinking there could be a hole in the center tube somewhere I can't see which would be a bummer. It was hard to make the hole in the carto cause I have a real crappy drill heh. I am quite certain the drill itself didnt pierce the center tube so I am thinking perhaps it somehow melted.

I was going with 1 hole in the carto but maybe I should use 2 hole, it seems to dry out very easy and is hard to take liquid.

The first day I had it filled it seemed to work great, no real leaks, ok vapor production etc. After the second refill though its been leaking like crazy through the carto. I'm kind of at a loss myself, any thoughts/advice would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

Was just wondering what the point is of using a cartomizer on a AFS system is? I would like to know because I am getting a Kaji JM soon and the guy selling it said he likes to use them on it. Is it the taste you like better? I'm confused here lol.
Done right it, a carto in a AVS or AFSv2
1)makes a ton more of vapor than atties
2) alot more flavor
3) cartos are alot cheaper than atties
4) no leaks with a carto

I tried it with the nhaler mega cartos ... I give it a thumbs down... vapor production was soo much less than my HV901, I'll give the Vapor9's a try when they get here.

Skullfreaks jig; works perfect and to me its better to have 1 hole vs 2... 2 holes kills the vapor even more and have a higher chance of getting that burnt taste. I kept checking the tank and man the carto mod uses soo much liquid... I was getting soo much more vapor with my cheap eastmall cartos before... I'll try those tomorrow... And I'll report on the vapornine's when they come in...

Theres a certain place to put the hole soo you dont kill the carto... I found out by killing 3 cartos ...

These comments are so surprising to me... Why is this working for some and not others???

I use the V9 Turbo cartomizer with the AVS and UltraPure Full Flavor with 2x3.0V LiFePO4 Tenergy batteries. I adjusted from the original post to use two holes, punched on opposing sides because I was having to draw in the juice every other puff on the second or third day.

After several weeks, I'm still blown away by the flavor and vapor production. I've used other flavors, too. Some PG some VG. Virtually nothing in the collection tank except... mist. After 3 - 4 days the flavor starts tasting 'off' so I switch to another carto and the magic is back. I'm cleaning the cartos for future use and tried one again last week. Worked like new.

I have five other awesome mods which I'm considering selling. The only drawback so far is my juice consumption has doubled (or more).

Just cleaning them out with tap water and then blowing them out. Since I'm not mixing flavors on the carts, I didn't bother using anything else. What do you use?

Guys I don't get it, I have had an LR901 ON ONE OF MY GGTS/AVS Units now for a month. One of the secrets for me is keeping it running correctly and by that I mean by keeping your collector tank dry. even though I use a different O Ring made by Danco, I still get maybe say 3 drops of liquid twice a day in my tank, that's it. when I feel it's in there I always have a syringe by my side, I close my CR tight and turn off my top tank, I suck up those couple if drops with my syringe and then use a tissue to just get the little bit of dampness out of the collector tank as well, I then screw on my Top Tank and open that CR to where I know my perfect draw is, it's the same place every darn time where that CR is set for me, I also believe this is one of the problems that people don't pick up on with the learning curve and that is this, once you have a nice dry collector tank and open that CR, DON'T TOUCH THE DARN THING AGAIN UNTIL YOU HAVE TO REMOVE LIQUID AGAIN. I know sometimes you may have to shut if if your on the run or in the car but then you may have to draw out the liquid say one more time a day, but leave the darn CR alone, to many people I think are turning that CR open shut open shut and playing with the darn thing, it is almost a natural thing to want to turn the CR since it is a moving part but trust me don't do it, simply because it puts air into and creates pressure in the tank and that you don't want because it forces fluid to move into an unwanted place, the collector tank in my opinion. Try what I'm saying and let me know how it works for you guys. This is my system and heck it's not brain surgery and really quite simple and to be able to have 6ml's of liquid and not have to drip or use a cart, carto and have this advanced system and only have to maintain by removing excess liquid that's a pretty darn good and simple process to me, Oh Ya also after I do this quick maintenance by extracting my liquid with the syringe and have my AVS back on and together I lightly out my liquid right back into my Atty and vape it so its not left over in my syringe, its my first new vape after cleaning so no waste
