GG Slim?

Anyone try the GG slim from Vaporkings? Looks slick but I don't know if they make a good protected battery for it. Any opinions?

The Slim does not take protected 10440s.

Guess they wont take protected batteries. I'm suprised they haven't made a minor modification to them for protected batteries.

I have a GG slim and I am currently using non-protected baterries.
I do not know how much longer the protected batteries are, but there are heaps of threads on the end-cap which could easily accomodate an extra 2-3mm without spoiling the overall look.
From what I have heard from it's creator, he does not believe protected batteries are absolutely necessary for single battery applications as the chances of 'shorting out' are minimal for single battery applications. There is a venting hole however if the worst was to happen.
His latest creation the Super Slim (2 batteries) is designed to cater for protected batteries because of the reason stated above.

I had a Slim for a few weeks and sold it... I was not overly pleased with it...

The end button to activate it wobbles quite a bit and I had issue with it firing all the time....

It's a gorgeous device, but for the price I wanted something tinker free and for me at least, the Slim was not it....

I believe Imeo, the GG's creator has developed a new end cap/button for the Slim, it now has a locking feature which will prevent accidental activation.
