GG Slim (not Super-Slim) Battery Question

Hi all -- pre-purchase question here: I see the GG Slim requires a "single 10440 3.7v lithium-ion battery (protected or non-protected)" and I'd like to buy this from Vapor Kings if/when I purchase my GG Slim, but the protected 10440 battery says "they do not fit the regular GG Slim." I do not want to use a non-protected battery. Suggestions?

The version you are seeing on VK's site now is a new version of the Slim which take protected 10440s. The original Slim could only use unprotected 10440s.
