Some excellent points Denali, and a few months ago I would probably have agreed with you, but now.....not so sure!
Recently, I've witnessed feelings about the maker's business practises and his general attitude to the those who truly matter (the customer) have had far wider and deeper implications than either he or his fanboy following will either admit to or remove the blinkers to perceive.
I'm an objective observer in this, as I have never had any interest in this style of mod. My opinion is, that a year ago, the maker of GG may have gotten away with this type of disdainful behaviour towards customers within the vaping community but, fortunately, there are so many far more attractive, effective and obtainable mods around now in the same price bracket. In the last week, I have personally witnessed well over 40 previous or potential customers declare that they will NEVER purchase GG stuff. This is not my opinion, these are statements on several forums, written in black and white. It was seeing these comments, and the strength of feeling with which they were written, added to the appearance of a number of GG items on a couple of forums yesterday and today at much less than the usual (artificially created???) flipping prices that we had previously grown accustomed to.
My post is merely putting the question out there. My opinion is that the tide has turned, and the vaping community and marketplace have grown up a lot recently, with the new generation of consumer aware mod producers realising that the most important person in the transaction is the customer, not the retailer, and the most important item is the product, not the ego!
