GGST & GG Slim + AFS matching serial #s?

Hi Imeo,

I was just wondering if you are considering or would consider making both the GGTS w/GGTS AFS and the GG Slim w/GG Slim AFS available as "matched sets" (which I guess would require putting a serial number on the AFS).

I tend to collect things and have always placed a premium on items with matching serial numbers or that are part of a complete set.

It would be great to have my GGTS AFS matched by serial number to my GGTS (heaven forbid my AFS is lost or stolen, I can prove it belongs to my GG)...

Is there anyone else out there who feels the same way about having the opportunity to purchase a paired / matched GG and GG AFS?

Imeo has stated in the past that he will not be putting serial numbers on any AFS.

You could etch/engrave your own if you wanted to I suppose.

Really, all we need is for Imeo to tell you the font and size of his etching and you could do it up yourself.

Mauv, I really respect your request but 2 things stop me from doing this:

1) Cost will be bigger (a few euros)

2) But the most difficult is that I will make AFS for GG customers that have already a GG. So it will be a real nightmare for my sellers Rob and Lisa to match serials with existing GGs. And I dont want to put them to this position

I still can't wait for the GGTS AFS to be available and place my order for both my GGTS and AFS!

I agree with ya....In theory it sounds good, having all the same serials matching, but when ya think about it, with other things, you never have matching serial numbers.....Just doesnt happen, Your TV, Your XBOX, Your AC Unit...They all have serial numbers...but there never gonna match. LOL.

Its a good way to track them, and see where they end up....and if ya have problems with one, etc.

But, I agree 100%....It would be a nightmare to try to match serials for every customer. The sellers (Rob/Lisa) would go crazy.....without a doubt...

My sellers are crazy either because they sell GG that is made from a crazy man so thats not a problem

Looking back, I believe I failed to adequately explain what I meant by "matched set" (with matching serial numbers). Shame on me... Unfortunately this happens very often (but only when I write or type): I have severe / chronic Attentention Deficit Disorder, a condition that in my case (amongst other things), continuiosly interferes with my transfer of thought to paper (or keyboard). I made the mistake of writing my previoius post(s) on the fly... My apologies to all. This time however, I am prepared.

My idea of a matched set is:

A GG GTS or GG Slim and the appropriate AFS (both with matching serial numbers) packaged in either a modern steel / aluminum / brass (or classic wood) display / carrying case adorned with serial numbered engravable nameplate.

Inside the case would be:

At least one iatty with empty slot(s) for spare(s). Maybe also a slot or two for cartomizers.

At least one (steel or alumimun with GG logo) eye dropper capped E-juice bottle.

A basic maintenance kit (or compartment in which to store one).

A small compartment for spare parts or other accessories.

The lid would have slots for various sized batteries (held in with velcro).

And what the heck, since this is my dream set, it would also include a small built in universal battery charger.

Would the above set be cheap? Heck no! But then again, how many other gifts, given or recieved, will be used daily and last (maybe even extend if given to a smoker who switches to vaping) a lifetime?

PS: I think I can safely guarantee that any Santa Clause who throws a set like that under the old Christmas tree will be treated to a lot more than just a glass of milk and a plate of cookies!

PPS: I forgot to mention that the case could also be sold as a standalone accessory. If not, then at the very least the option to purchase it seperately should be offered to all those who already own a GG exclusively.
