GGTB Aluminum 901 Cap Issue

Got my GGTB SS tube in today, waiting on the button still. But I cannot get the top cap to thread into the top of the tube, it only goes in about 1/3 of the way. I dont want to force it because I know it could cross thread or just mangle the threads. Any other tips or tricks besides using a thread compound like Noalox?

Still no luck Imeo, now the 901 Top Connection is stuck onto the SS tube, cannot remove it. I send you PM
