GGTB with RES

Out of nowhere it's working perfect now. I let it sit for 15 minutes and it's vaping like a champ now. That's a good idea though fright.

Yeah it works well for me I just take it out and squeeze it out if it gets to soaked and wash it every now and then. But I can't take credit I think I saw it mentioned in one of the other AVS threads I was reading.

I could not resist and I removed the cover gray of the Res with a fine sandpaper. Then I polished.

Only problem with the res is juice in the mouth. I know everything has a learning curve but is there any tricks/tips??

The whole time I owned my Ultramax this was my complaint. I never got it to stop dribbling in my mouth every couple minutes. UFS solves this.

Well I wanted to have a GGTB also and a tank system for it. I'm going to play around with the RES for awhile and try to master it just like I did the UFS.

I'm going to put my dual coil cartos in it and see how that goes, I have some 5 volt batteries that fit the GGTB nicely.

If you're a fan of the Dual Coils you really should try one of the carto tanks. The Liquinator is too slippy for me, but the DCT seemed to hold up pretty well. I've got a prototype Notcigs M1A1 tank on my GGTS right now that's just waiting for the GGTB to show up for carry around duty.

Hi Silentt,

Wasn't suggesting you give up. I just gave it a month and wasn't getting anywhere. I was frustrated for about two days with the UFS but after that smooth sailing. I hope it works out with Apex for you and don't want to put down the product. It just never dialed in for me.

this is a great thread. Now anyone try out the ultralite RES with the GG Slim? anyone knwo a way to get it on a regular 510 connection?

also, can someone show a picture of the Collector Tank from more than just the side? Id liek to see it from the top and bottom too. Also, whoever it is that did the collector tank with mesh mod instead of the RES can you post soem pictures?

I just tried, I had too, LOL,
with my UltraMax RES and my GGTS.
With a 510-510 adapter, GG collector tank on, it fits fine. Slightly smaller, but fits fine.
Seems to work fine.
I can take a pic tomorrow if anyone is interested.
