WOW, I just read this whole thread...............Looks like a come back for the GGTB and I have one of these all in SS

Me too Sax, only reason I bought one was because of the engravings, saw those and had to have one. Glad I did - Odys Drip Mode is great on it. Iatty looks good too and can be used without an adapter now.

Yep...got my batteries charging now, going to try some of the 7.4 volt stuff Looking forward to doing the ODY drip and maybe some other ODY set ups.

The GGTB is a great machine. I was very bummed to miss out the new SS but hope that Imeo will get a few more out. The slim body of the TB makes it very front shirt pocket friendly which is how I carry all day, every day.

I have a feeling the Proteus will blow the TB away but its like comparing a classic Beetle with a Ferrari.

No, I bought the all ss everything tb. SS top and bottom caps

the new caps on the GGTB is SS so should be no issues. Imeo, said he was going to make more...like right away when I went crying about missing the sale due to a site crash during check out. I don't think he knew how many people wanted one of these

Hello Imeo,
one question about the basic material for GGTB nickel.
Is the basic material aluminium, steel or other?
Because I got one GGTB and looks to me like a nickel matt one but it's as heavy as the brass one.

Yes, though I retired my brass one in exchange for my new SS GGTB. It's now sitting in one of my pelican cases next to my virtually unused GGTS+brass accents
