somewhere out there......
No worries, glad you could help out when we weren't around. :)

I think it's a game of semantics really. The fact of the matter is that you can use all four atomisers with the TS as standard and that's what I believe Imeo is getting at when he calls it the 4-in-1 solution.

I see your point... and it does narrow it down to one hollowed 901 adapter. I will say its an awesome idea. And one thing I like about it is the design of the multi adapter....

Yea I think the idea is to put the 901 thread thingie on your AFS and it becomes part of the 901. It is so small you don't notice its there...

Your post makes sense, if you leave it on the 901 part, then you've "adapted" it already. As far as the marketing of the GGTS, not sure "4 in 1" would be the best terms, as it kinda infers the cap has all the adapter abilities built-in. And since that may be a hardware impossibility in the first place, it's NOT a big deal anyways, can't wait to order one, and I'm going to try 901, 801, and 501, not sure what the 4th option is?

Thanks for the reply emonty! That's good news but how certain are you on this? I'm not positive but from looking at the pic, the 901/808 adapter looks like it needs to be screwed onto the 801 threads. Also, I don't think the 510 atty would reach the threads if the adapter is on. Can anyone else confirm that the 901 adapter can be left on and still be able to use the 510 or 801 attys? Thanks!

Hi Ham. The 901 atomizer became an 510 atomizer with this small brass piece. Its not an adapter like those you already know because it has not the small piece inside it. It is just change the threads from 901 to 510. You can leave it on the atomizer permanently, so you can use your 901 like 510. And because its not an adapter, it has not contact problems, it just rethreads the 901 atomizer:)

cartomizer friend. :):)

Thanks, I'm going to play with ALL of them once I obtain a GGTS, I'm on Rob's mailing list, so hopefully I'll be able to respond to the "lottery" before they get gobbled up, look like Lisa's site sold out in a day, better get back to work Imeo, the demand seems HIGH!

I made only 150 so I dont think that they will last more than 2-3 days. Next batch will be 500 so I can sleep well at nights:D:D:D

Ive already seen it up close, plus theres an old video on it you may want to take a look at emonty...

The endcap is threaded for 801 atomizers and also internally is threaded for 510 atomizers, the center post moves up and down and is able to contact the center post of your atomizer. The 901 adapter has 801 threads on the bottom and 901 threads on the top. You can't screw it on (the 901 adapter) and then use the 801 or 510, you'll need to reomove it again to run those.

Hope that helps...

As Imeo told me before and now confirms it on the forum: no need to take it off, you can use all! 4 options :D

I respectfully disagree Emonty and this is only serving to confuse and frustrate the consumer.

The user(s) original question(s) were two fold, to which there is a very clear, concise answer:

First question: Can i screw all four atomizer types (801, 510, 901 and 901 cartomizers) onto the unit without any type of adapters?

Answer: No. The 510 and 801 screw on with no type of adapter needed. The 901 and 901 cartomizers need a small brass adapter (also known as a "part", "thing", "threads") in order to adapt its threads to the units threads.

Why the need for an adapter? Because the parent Unit's two thread types are 9mm (for the 801 atomizer) and 7mm (for the 510 atomizer). The 901 atomizer has a different 8mm thread and thus will not screw on without an adapter that adapts its 8mm thread to the thread type of the parent unit.

Second Question: Can i just leave this 901 adapter on the unit and still put on my 801 and 510 atomizer.

Answer. No. It must be removed in order to utilize the 510 and 801 atomizer. As Imeo indicated, it will probably just come right off with your 901 atomizer. Should it unscrew from the atomizer instead and stay on the unit, you'll need to remove it.

I hope this clears up any confusion.

Thanks for your response Imeo! :) Maybe I'm interpreting it incorrectly but I'm not seeing it any different from an adapter. The part is still being use to change the threads. And since it is removable part, I'll most likely misplace it. I guess my search continues for a true 4-in-1 connector device which is looking like it may not be possible. Thanks again! :)

As Imeo told me before and now confirms it on the forum: no need to take it off, you can use all! 4 options :D

Hey emonty, you are correct that it can use all 4 types of atomizers however not needing to take off the adapter from the endcap is not accurate. As Imeo said, you can leave it on the atomizer (not the endcap) permanently. Hope that helps! :)

Exactly!

I give up ;-) I don't know what to say anymore on this, I am sure you know what you are talking about and I must have missed something here or made the wrong interpretation of what Imeo had told me..... Imeo...it's your turn so we can move on and Vape with or without adapters.... ;-)

I think yes, it's an interpretation problem here. Imeo is stating that it's not an adapter for the reasons above, however, to many, it indeed appears to be an adapter, so it's just semantics.
Traditional adaptes as we know them, usually either add length to the e-cig, or require you to change the entire cap on the device itself. Imeo's solution for the TS avoids this as it is a simple re-threading device that is invisible in use. However, as already stated, you DO need to ensure it is NOT in place on the device before you put 510s and 801s back on the GGTS. Keeping it on your 901 is the best way to do this.

Thanks for your response Imeo! :) Maybe I'm interpreting it incorrectly but I'm not seeing it any different from an adapter. The part is still being use to change the threads. You will not find a "true" 4-in-1 device because of the nature of the threads and their diameters. The solution on the TS is pretty much the best you are going to get in this area, I think. Don't worry about loss of this piece, we will have spares for this eventuality. As I said though - keeping it on your 901 will avoid this (unless you lose the entire 901 atty.)

xaxa you are right friend.!!

Its not an adapter as I said before, I just "rethread" the 901 threads, thats all. Its exactly like the 510 atomizer now. No visible threads when you screw it, just like the 510:)

Dont worry friend about loosing this small part because always I have a solution. You saw that if I cant make the connector to fit, I make the atomizer to fit, its the same thing. Please wait until I make the 901 atomizer with 510 threads so you will be totally covered:thumbs:
