GGTS leakage issue for NON-USA people

Guys, I am almost sure that in 3 days I will have the parts for the permanent solution of the leakage issue. I will send all parts to Rob because he can ship fast to you and I can ship fast to Rob too, and I will ship to the rest of the world.

If anyone of you had this leakage issue he can send me 6 euros to my paypal account for shipping and I will send him the nessesary parts maybe on Monday. I say again that this thread is for all GG users EXEPT USA customers.

most 801 i use have the leakage problem, my 510/rn4075 i currently use don't leak through very much. but i had some in the past that would be problematic. so i decided for me the fix is necessary and the small charge worth it.

Not quite sure if this is the correct place to ask, but is the leakage problem mostly for people that drip or use the old style afs? I drip on blue foam on my 510 at 3.7, and I don't think I'm having a problem with it. Rather starting to enjoy 3.7 again, btw.

I'm even wondering if I should even get the AFS when it comes out, since I'm enjoying the current setup (which I just threw together when I got my ggts wed before having to rush off to work). Haven't even gotten around to trying the 6v imoeattys yet! I did like 5v on another mod, but got sick of killing 510 attys. Thoughts, anyone?

Finally, a couple of guys recommended about taking the ggts down to a custom metal shop for a super buffing and protective coating of something or other. I'm presuming this is safe, as long as they do it correctly?

GGTS is leaking only with AFS for the most people Clyde. There are others that dont have issues so if you dont have issues then no reason to take this update.
As for AFS, you will buy it for sure when you will read what other people will say about it.
I am happy that you enjou again your 3,7 volts
As for polishing the GGTS, you can do it if you want. I made it in a mat finish so anyone can make it more shiny. Many people like mat finish including me. I made it like this because a shiny finish cant be mat but a mat one can be more shiny.
GGTS now has a mat-shiny finish as you have seen but if want to shine it more then you can do it easily to a local shop. They will do it in 5 mins
