Good review. I once thought that the GGTS would never be beaten by any other PV. It is still very nice but i too have found that there are better and more affordable mod's out there.I get too attached to things i buy with love otherwise my GGTS would be in classifieds. I have not used my GGTS for the last 2 weeks. I must reconsider not selling it just because i think it must be used.

I have photographed both model GG's and the AFS and AVS extensively. Here's the first photo.

I've never uploaded an image before so the chances of me getting it right first up is proly slim lol
The O-Ring isn't damaged. What you see is "Flash".

Pasted from Wkipedia:

Flash or flashing is excess material attached to a molded, forged, or cast product, which must usually be removed. This is typically caused by leakage of the material between the two surfaces of a mold. (This leak begins along what is called a parting line in mold design[1]) Molding flash is seen when the optimized parameter on cull height is not calibrated..."

This is strictly an O-ring manufacturing issue, poor quality control at the O-ring factory. It is a fairly common ocurrence in injection molding and, when discovered, is usually trimmed off the product. Since this is a low pressure O-ring, I guess they didn't bother to trim it. Though it might possibly lead to seal failure in a high pressure situation, it shouldn't have any impact in a PV (low pressure / thick liquid) environment.

I've used Low Pressue O-rings rings with flash that we're supplied in automotive kits several times without experiencing any ill effects...

I'll be looking for another pv before to long. Not that I need another lol. Was considering something from the GG line up. Not sure though. Seems like a rock solid product. But here are so many these days. Maybe a REO box mod or something. Been watching the AFS vids on youtube, and that thing looks pretty wicked.

A good argument. You make a strong point.
and you hail from Beirut. I've always wanted to go there.

Tokes you should come to Lebanon if you can. You won't regret it believe me. I will definitely visit Australia some day...I love it, Especially the wild side of it. I just don't know why I'm so fond of it, but I'm sure that its worth it.

Nice review Tokes..

I'm not a GG fanboi nor a hater.. No time for the drama involved on either side.
I've owned some of the older models. Still have one of the first 10440 plunger bottom units. Simple design and works well for a small battery tube that a cartomizer screws onto.
Battery life is short but so is the unit. Great for stealth vaping.

Never had a desire for the larger ones. Way to expensive and I prefer stainless
*yes I know it's heavier*

Loved the particle theory statement.. We always find what we're looking for..

Brock,

Thanks heaps for the nice post that wasn't designed to make me feel bad lol.
Yeah, the particle theory cuts both ways too.
Nice avatar btw.

". No time for the drama involved on either side."

Yes I see the sense in that. So this will be my last post on this thread.
Thanks to all who chatted in goodwill. And to the rest, you know who you are!!!
No hard feelings and my sincere well wishes to you.

Tokes
