My opinion is.....

I would rather pay a little more and get a heavy duty device, this is my .2 cents... I love my ggts v2 and avs, and I have had not one issue.... but if ya asked me, would ya pay more for a product to have it made better with thicker walls or better material, or whatever, I would pay more. And I am sure others would too, if it came down to it... If a cheaper GG means making stuff not built as good, then I dont want a cheaper GG, I want the old GG, the best build PV on the planet...

I think others would agree...

GGTS will have always the best quality my good friend Tim. But I will make an inexpensive GG with less features just to give the oportunity to all people to try the quality of GG line:)

I'm with Hefner with this one ... I would pay extra for the same aluminum as the original GGTS... I know our friend Imeo wants to reach a boarder market but I love the exculsivity of the older GGTS ... Its like achieving a goal in a mid life crisis and buy your first Ferrari, LOL!!!

I agree with you Rip. Alunimium that I used this time tarnish more dificult. From the same aluminium I will make the inexpensive GG. It will have just less features.

Imeo,
Yeah, I love the new look of the the GGTS v2, the mirror like shine...but people have noted problems they have never had with regular GG's that cost more then this one...so if ya had to make some things a little cheaper thats fine, but I would rather pay more, and get better threads and a thicker AVS tank.... and stuff like that... like the original GGTS...

I still love my GGTSv2 w/ AVS tho...puffin on it now....

GG for life

to speak the truth the GG this time was even more expensive to me because I made thinner walls on it! So its just the opposite than you think my good friend Tim:)
I always try to make it better, not worse, worse was never my style, its not now and it will never be.

imeo, if it's cheaper to make some with thicker walls in the 6065 aluminum, or an even more durable material i'll definitely take another!
:toast:

of course its cheaper buGG. The difficult part is the thin walls and threads on thin walls. You have to be extremely careful when you do so accurate cuts on lathe.

Can you please send me a link with 6065 properties pal?

sorry imeo, typo there. i was referring to the 7075 aluminum alloy that was used on the original GGTS. but maybe even something even stronger like that of the kaiser 7068 alloy. i think the GG line is great, and i love the GGTS for all of the features it has. without them it's still a solid mod, but it's competition will rightly become every other mod out there, and probably most directly a mod that has already borrowed heavily from your designs. if it's tough it will speak for it's immortality, and if the flagship model, the GGTS w/ AVS, can possibly be improved in terms of materials used to further its own immortality then that only helps further set the benchmark for all mods and particularly the GG line.

just my thoughts and opinions for further success, but i will always look carefully and with great interest at whatever you come up with next.

I will check this type of aluminium buGG but it has to be available here too.
And I totally agree to whatever you said. You know that I always try for the best either pal:)

Imeo,
Thats kinda what I am getting at, I rather have beefy threads...Threads that will last forever, so that would mean, Thicker walls.... ya know? I love my GGTS v2 ... I do..I love how light it is... but if I had my choice, I rather have a thicker, heavier, better threads... ya know? And I would pay more if I had too.....for all of the above ... =)

the only parts that are thinner is the front cap and the AVS. All the other are the same Tim.:)

imeo,
The threads are def. not as good...They arent very defined....I would prefer the GGTS v1 threads on the GGTS v2 ... That's just my opinion tho....

Other then that and the thickness of the AVS, I am satisfied with the GGTS v2...It's in my hand, A LOT! lol...

The adjustable draw is sweeeeet

-Tim

Threads are thin so they dont look very nice but they have not problem of course and but you cant see them when GG is full assembled. I made it like this to make it lighter buddy:)
