Well I made this today and it works very well. Adjustable power supply for my TS. It is very simple to make one of these things. The biggest investment is the power supply itself. I picked one up at Radio Shack for $39 bucks. The end connector is about $3.50 and you have a pass thru that rocks at 2 amps with 3, 5, 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5v.

OK I didn't realize there was two different boxes there. And I thought I had a lot of mods.... ahhaha.... I sell them off once they sit here too long. Better for someone else to get some use of them instead of letting them sit here and collecting dust. But I can see how some would like to collect these things. They are all just so cool and each has their subtle differences.

I am in Springfield. I used to commute to Palmer Twp. It's not a bad ride. 58 min to me from there and then another 35 min to NYC. Maybe we could car pool.

I will see what I can do. Being in college (waited 9 years to go lol) with homework and 4 -6 hours of studying everyday kinda doesn't leave me with much time. But man I would love to go to one of those sometime.

Well Stormy the difference here is the amps on the one I used is a full 2 amps. It has a nice thick cord supplying a good steady 2 amps. I have one that is 1 amp and I notice the difference. I'm not really an electronics expert so hopefully someone will chime in and let us know why we need the 2 amp pass thru power source versus the 1 amp that a USB power source puts out.

You will need a Panel-Mount Size N Coaxial Power Jack with a Tip size of 5.5mm OD x 2.5mm ID. You can refer to these pictures for a more detailed set of instructions on how to wire it. And no that is not electrical tape on the end, that is heat shrink tubing. It forms a nice bond and insulates the connector from accidental shorts. I used the nut on the panel mount to mechanically tighten down on the wire as well as soldering it to the connector so there is very little chance that I might pull it out of the connection.

I was thinking of putting out the word that if anyone with the pass thru already wants me to make them one of these multi-voltage deals they could just ask... oops I guess I just did......

From my understanding, 5 volts is 5 volts. Regardless of the atomizer you are using, the voltage from most any device should produce similar vapor production and throat hit. Do not fool yourself into believing that a GG device produces anything more than any other device at 5 volts.

The material dont play any role friend? The thickness of the wires? The batteries you using? You forgot them
