I really, really hate facebook, but maintain a profile anyway. It's locked down tighter than alcatraz with privacy settings, and I use it mostly for messaging and keeping up with other people. If you don't like it as much as I do, you might try getting a profile and setting every privacy setting possible to be strict. Its as close to avoiding FB as possible lol

I'm thinkin" FB will be lots easier for the type of contests that myshkin likes to do ...

no F5'ing and searching thru all those pages ...since FB loads reply's instantly
