Ok I have been vaping for two months now and for awhile there I was down to like 7 smokes a day. Than I did the worse thing imaginable, I bought a pack of my favorit camal menthols with the flavor ball in the filter and its been down hill from there. I use to smoke a pack a day and we are not talking 24 hours. I am still at around 12 a day and am vaping too but it seems them camals have something in them that sends me back to smokeville. I can go down to 6 or 7 with any others but they are my demise.:(
So now I am going to get up the nerve to get off these analogs but I get hit with such a bad case of depression and snap at my daughter that makes me a little scared. I know less than half a pack is better than a pack but I still feel like a slave to them. HELP!!! any body have some suggestions

You are not the only one who has gone through the depression and gets just a bit snippy. Sounds like you have been self medicating with tobacco. Unfortunately, for those of us that do, PV's can be but a pale imitation of the real thing. There are missing elements in the purified type nicotine found in e-liquid that are in tobacco. And I don't mean the toxins. I'll link you up to a few places to get you started. A good place to get a feel for what's going on is a post by the Madame that condenses the Are we getting it thread, which is kind of a legend of a thread around here. Just keep reading her post until she finally runs out of steam.

After that come on down to the smokeless section and we'll set you up with some good advice on where to go from there.

I will read it but I think we sometimes have to come to terms that nicotine addiction makes you an addict. We are no differant than a ...... addict or an alcoholic. We want our drug and need to realize the only differance is ours is easier to obtain.
I know people who have quit and 25 to 30 years later still crave a smoke but it passes. I do believe I medicate with smokins tobacco and it happened when I went through treatment for substance abuse (30 day lock up) 22 years ago. So instead of using my drugs I turned to tobacco.
I love the learning process I have gone through while trying to quite tobacco and this forum is so helpful.
