Giving Vaping another go

Hi All,

Been lurking around these forums for awhile now, figured since I was making another effort to get back into vaping would make an account.

I made the move to ecigs about two years ago and lasted a couple of months..... then fell off the wagon. It was silly really. We were moving to a new house and I misplaced my ecig. Rather than hunt it down I bought a pack of smokes... And that was that. My wife on the other hand, who was reluctant at first, stuck with it and has no desire to go back.

Anyways, I figured lets give this another go! I have two big motivators driving me to quit analogs this time around:

1) I started working out last month and as I build up my routine I kinda feel smoking is holding me back.

2) In the last couple of weeks I have spent north of 300 bucks on ecig related gadgets and toys. So many cool new things have come out! If I don't quit analogs now I will never hear the end of it from my wife

Thanks! As far as my urge to smoke, I find myself going through the same phase as when I first vaped. That is, I will vape away happily and think "I want a REAL smoke!" Then I have one and think "Huh... this is not doing anything for me.... why am I smoking this?" So far I find myself vaping more and smoking less, so feel I am on the right track!

I have about the same story. I fell off the wagon after over a year vaping when I let my supplies get low and went back to smokes. Now I am back on track and going to make it work this time. You are right alot of new things have come out. Wish you the best and stick with it.

Hey, welcome back!

I slipped up too, but because I started dating a smoker. I smoked for about 3 months when I fell off the wagon. Bought some new gear, dusted off my DIY supplies, and let the (now ex) bf try it. I immediately put down the cigarettes and haven't even had a drag since. He picked up his own hardware within a couple days.

It was easier for me the second time around, since I had a good understanding/knowledge base, and a great forum to fall back on.

Thanks for the kind words all! As far as what I have picked up let's see.....

A few Ego Twists (Wife loves them!)
Vivi Nova and Mini tanks
Kanger T3's (so far my favorite)
A few Stardusts (My wife really likes these)
A Tank and Carto setup (Not sure if I am a fan just yet)
Tons of juice from a local place my wife likes
And... A Vamo! Boy am I loving this thing!

Prior to this my wife was using the Ego Type B tank setups. I forget what the heck I used way back when... Was a Joytech type setup.
