I am wanting to get some glass bottles for long term freezer storage for my pg based nic, are the amber colored bottles the best? Is Amazon.com a good source?
I believe I have read of some storing for as long as 18 months with no problems, not sure if I'll have that much, but in view of the way things are going, I want to start getting enough to have plenty on hand.
Any tips, or anything else I need to know about long term storage, appreciated.

Yes, amber glass is the way to go. Keeps light out. But if they are in a dark freezer, with no light, amber or clear glass doesn't make much of a difference. But I'd say stick with glass, not plastic. Yes, people have put thier nic in freezer for 1-2 years just fine. could even go longer prolly. You can look on amazon, prolly good stuff there. I have ordered bottles before from myfreedomsmokes.com resonable pricing. If you want to buy alot, rather than onezies twozies, I'd reccomend Container & Packaging Supply, Inc. | Plastic containers & bottles, glass jars, and more!. I've ordered hundreds of bottles from them, but thier shipping is kind of high, (but thier prices are great) so ordering alot off sets the shipping costs.

I've read some of Kurt's posts, if that's who you are referring to, don't remember anything about bottles tho. Thanks for the info.

Specialty Bottle - Glass Bottles, Glass Jars, Tin Containers, Vials, Plastic Bottles, Plastic Jars for Food, Cosmetics, Candles and Aromatherapy
Not my idea, but I'm pleased with the prices.

There is info on here somewhere by a guy who is a chemist & pretty much an expert on the subject. He recommended the amber European dropper bottles for long term storage in the freezer.

I'll try to find the link to his posts.

I found 4oz that I'm looking for, for $.68 each, don't know what the shipping is yet tho.

I just shopped around for amber glass bottles for liquid storage over last weekend, and found this eBay seller has better prices than many other suppliers. I should have my purchase in the next day or so.

This thread reminded me of something one can do with tung oil to prevent air from drying it out and turning it into goo after a long storage period. The trick is after you open the container and use some of the product and before you put the lid back on you put those little decorative glass COPYRIGHTDMCA or marbles into the can to displace the air and when the liquid is right up to the neck, put the cap back on. I don't know if it would work for nic unless you used large enough bottles that you could fit marbles into.

Forgot to mention that the other night I was waiting for a prescription to be filled so I wandered around the store and found some 50ml glass bottles that were on sale. Best thing is they were filled with maple syrup.
