Glass Tank for kayfun Lite Plus opinions needed...

I discovered this and was wondering if anyone had any opinions on it. I know that it is held with o rings but I use the IBtanked carto tanks all the time and have never had it pop apart on me.

Are these about the same quality? Im not rough my mods and usually carry them in a case when Im out and about.

These are Chinese made... the same ones sold on FT for $4.89.

The metal finish is generally good.
The glass tends to be hit and miss for quality - some have experienced rough edges and/or cracking.
The o-rings don't seem to hold up for long - some complain of a loose fit right from the package - which may be machining inconsistencies, some after a few days of use - which can only be o-rings. Might be a juice issue with some... but I doubt for all.

The ones I've bought (from FT - all SS nano tanks, no full length) are the latter... nice and tight for a few days of use, then the tension slackens up and they start to seep a bit. Loose enough that it doesn't take much leverage to tilt the glass. No tank cracker juices in use... so doubtful it's my juice that's turning the o-rings "soft".

As all mine have nice glass and metal, and originally had a nice, tight o-ring fit... I have some higher quality o-rings ordered from The O-ring Store (but not in yet) to see if that's the cure.

The fasttech ones must be hit or miss.I have a nano version and 2 of the full size,and haven't had issues with any of them.I would reccomend changing the o-rings though,since for one they are red haha,but also because they just feel thin and cheap.

Not at all, but you might get lucky. The glass on those is junk. I got one and it cracked as soon as I tried to take it apart to clean it, and I wasn't being rough with it.
