Like Salem posted, Specialty Bottle is where I purchase mine too, they have decent pricing and ship fast.

...

And they have "Cobalt Blue" which is about the Coolest Colour I know for Glass.

Actually, I think most vendors buy the cheapest plastic bottles they can find, to cut back on expenses.
I'm not willing to chance it myself. After reading mwa's thread awhile back, I went to ALL glass on everything vaping!
If it comes to my house in plastic, I immediately transfer it to glass.

Edited to add: I bought all my glass from the glass seller linked to in this post. They have all kinds of glass bottles, in various colors (not just blue) and in an assortment of sizes. Some with droppers, some without. I think you can find most everything you'd need from there, and it's not very expensive at all. And boy! did they ever put enough packing material in there! Not one single broken bottle!

Isn't the plastic in E-Liquid bottles supposed to be very resistant to chemicals? I think someone on the forum said that many plastics that they use for E-Liquid are good enough to store very reactive chemicals in. But the blue bottle does look nice.

Some do. And some Don't.

As with most things, it's Not an All or Nothing type thing.

Actually, I think most vendors buy the cheapest plastic bottles they can find, to cut back on expenses. ...

I think this is True sometimes. But also, I think there are a Lot of Vendors / Members who just don't Know or see any Difference between one type of Plastic to Another.

Here is a Good Example...

One person told me once that they use a certain type of Plastic for storing e-Liquids. When I told them that that Particular Plastic was a Very Poor Choice because of Known BPA Leeching and suggested a Better Choice, I was told...

"Those are No Good for e-Liquids. Becasue the Labels Don't Stick on as Well."

I guess sometimes Ignorance Bliss.

Absolutely just not so. Glass should be the standard in this industry as far as I'm concerned, and certain vendors know this and use only Glass, the vendors that arent are only looking to save $$$ IMHO,, It's a fact that ketones can and do effect the different resins used to make plastic bottles.

I noticed when I was using plastic bottles for my juice, that over time the plastic got....for lack of a better word coming to mind at the moment....cloudier? It was clearer when I first got it, and it clouded up over time. So when I hit on mwa's post, it all made sense to me. I also noticed that when I first made my juice, and put it in a plastic bottle, that at first it tasted fine, but over time, the flavor started getting alittle more and more off, so I'd make some more new..not realizing what was going on. Since I've gone to all glass, I no longer have these problems...and my juice tastes like it should from day one until it's GONE:p and I have to make more.

I agree with what you are saying and I hate to ever bring up the “R” Word because I get All Kinds of Interesting Hate Mail.

But vendors selling e-Liquids in Inferior Plastic Bottles which Leech Plastics is Huge Ammunition for the people who believe that e-Liquid Sales should be Regulated.

Mind you, I have NO desire to see this stuff regulated! I personally think we are all adults, and should be able to regulate ourselves! How do we go about getting venders to use glass bottles, without causing a stink? The only way I know to do it is to make more people aware of this, so they don't buy from venders who use plastic. Any other ideas out there?

Wish I remembered the vet who turned me on to that great bottle store years back, it makes a difference in taste and mind.In the beer industry they have fixed some of those concerns with liners but from a vaping standpoint glass in not only shiney it may save your hiney.

cant find that vet ,the history doesn't go back that far.

Yup. I can certainly understand that point of view.

Actually, I'm kind of hoping somebody will chime in to say that you absolutely must buy those incredibly cute blue glass bottles, no matter what. I just love them, but I need a plausible-sounding excuse to spend yet more money. "Oh, but I'm saving so much by not smoking!" doesn't even fool me any more.

You simply MUST buy glass!
Have we given you enough plausible reasons yet?
