I have discovered that some folks are not at all inclined to tell the truth about their needs for vaping supplies. I'm guilty of a little contest win abuse myself (selling/trading), but
nothing that was a PIF item. I
try to pick the contests I enter more carefully now. If I was to PIF something that was PIF's to me I would want full approval from the previous owner. The detective work required to find out if a PIF recipient actually needs anything or will just sell it is too much for me. I've tried and it leaves me with an icky feeling. The treasure chest isn't much better... I've seen folks in there take things that were selling hundreds of dollars worth of gear in the classies at the same time.
Pardon the semi-rant. Giving shouldn't be hard, but I've personally seen the most heinous abuse of charity after donating time to help those in need. Whether it's society in general or just bad parenting, some people just plain suck. The anonymous nature of the internet makes it even harder to enjoy giving things away.
