repost (i didnt feel like typing it again) from our other
thread.
{should i not repost stuff? this is the 2nd time ever that i have done it, but its am important kinda life event possible scam possible dream opportunity}
is it too good to be true?
i was searching cragslist for a new rental house.
trying to find something in a similar range to the place we live now. the necessary amenities being A/C (this is a deal breaker as we have had swamp for the last 2+ years); 2 bedrooms; fenced yard (its time to get a puppy for the boy!); dishwasher, washer/dryer hook ups; more SQ then our current place, and not in the boondocks.
i found some appealing places. and i found one amazing place.
the amazing place is a 3 bedroom 2 bath house with yard and all the aforementioned qualities and then some. even has a garage. it is going for 15$ less than we are paying now and is twice the size.
too good to be true? they only had an email listed so i sent a request for more info showing my interest.
according to the email i received, it belongs to a pastor that now lives in michigan. he sent a short and basic application, name number employer address family size pets etc...
other than some poor grammer, i cant tell if this is a scam. he did send the address of the home (and yes its far from where we live) and talked about being a good Christian and his bothers keeper. He did include a cell phone number, which tells me there is a good chance that this is legitimate. comparable listings/rentals run about $400+ more than he is asking.
Is this a real!?
Ill call him before i submit my info (to play it safe)
But i am kinda dumbfounded as its plausible but unlikely (im not naive, often) this is real.
If its real, its a dream house, and perfect place for my family to settle in. i just cant help but be skeptical.
