#3 I think I read somewhere that Orange juice is supposed to neutralize?? Heck if I know if that's true or not.

#4 I just ate some Italian food. Garlic is as strong as 10 mothers. My vape tastes funny. 20 mule team Borax would get the taste out, but I'm going to play it safe and try brushing my teeth. Maybe some mouthwash.

#5 I got an ECF friend request from a brand new member that has never made a post. I'm not sure how to feel about that...

Edit:
I am completely humbled to be in the presence of such kind, generous and caring individuals. This thread.. this forum... this community... simply amazing.

Thank you. With everything in my being... Thank you.
Yes, there are some very nice folks around here. I remember getting a PIF box from an ECF friend back when I really needed it. The giving spirit of Christmas should be year round. To avoid the greedy types, which there are many, I find it best to get to know an online entity as well as possible before sending off the goods. ;)

5: Glad you mentioned that, I was as well and did not know they had no posts, no likes, have not given likes or anything, so I un-friended them after looking into it. Seems a bit odd.

One of my "friends" was somewhat unknown to me, but I had at least seen a few of their posts, given and received likes. After they asked for the "friend" status, I read a post where they commented on trying to get 1000 friends, thus the request. Meh, silliness, whatever. :)

Yep, I got that same friend request. . . at least I assume that it was from the same person. I tried to PM him/her, but was unable to do so-either because they had their account set on "no PMs" or they aren't eligible (do you have to have a certain number of posts before you can PM?). At any rate, I declined the request--it seemed kind of creepy to me.

It sounds like this person just went through and sent friend requests to just about everyone.

I did not get that friend request, but it sure sounds shady.

Over on XDA, they had a recent run of low or no post users suddenly sending friend requests and spamming via pm. I would hate to see that happen here.

Well, boardopboy, I wouldn't feel bad about not getting it, LOL! I'm not sure anyone mentioned this, but not only did s/he have no posts, but they just joined today, too.

Sorry, XDA? That's a new acronym for me!

So, new question for the DIYers in the group. Has anyone tried using a hand-held milk frother to mix recipes? I must no pay enough attention to the DIY forums, but today is the first time that I had heard this mentioned. I immediately picked one up on eBay for about $6/including shipping. Theoretically, it makes a lot of sense to me--it not only mixes, but it incorporates air. There's YouTube video where some guy says that it cuts down his steeping times from 21 days to 3-4 days. That seems a little optimistic to me, but it's worth a shot, I suppose.

Wow, it looks like I might get five posts after all. . .

I saw that video and discussion about the mixer in another ECF thread. From what I can tell, you would need to make ~30ml batches at minimum. I'm still making smaller batches and tweaking the recipe each time, in search of a better vape. Most of what I've made is ready to vape on day two, after a couple of hours in an ultrasonic cleaner. To each their own, it's probably great for tobacco flavorings that require a longer steep. Maybe someday...:tumble:

XDA is XDA Developers. A smart phone development and hacking community. Like ECF, but with Android and iPhones, etc...

Well, the polar moral opposite of ECF. The knowledge and advice is incredible, but so is the as5hatery and d0uchebagery.

In the video, he actually demonstrates it with a really small amount of liquid (assuming we're talking about the same video, anyway--I think the guy is British). Anyway, I'll give it a shot. (I don't have an ultrasonic cleaner yet--someday. . . )

Thanks, boardopboy, for the explanation.

Good night everyone. . .

#5 Woot XDA ... :) I am always doing custom roms for my phones. I just got the LG G2. Can't wait to get into that baby. Although, the phone is pretty darn sweet stock. ( sorry off topic I know )

I also got it....I also checked & saw no posts.....so I don't know where they collected our names from.... I also looked at who had "befriended him" and so it could be from lots of placed....
I am hoping to go back to that B & M soon.... I was thinking about a new RBA...I might be able to check them out before deciding what I want (someday).....I just don't know what would be easiest for me....
Oh BTW I didn't see anyone mention Julia Louise Dreyfus vaping at the awards show the other night.....I am amazed at how fast it seems to be going unmentioned....I didn't see this till today...
Golden Globe Awards 2014: Julia Louis-Dreyfus puffs on e-cigarette, scarfs down hot dog in hilarious camera cuts. - NY Daily News

Well anyway have a great night Treefam....
