Serendipity means a "happy accident" or "pleasant surprise..." a fortunate mistake.

Last night, I was a bit sleepy and while whipping up a standard stop gap DIY mix (for while I wait for Tax Money to buy batteries and GMO juice!)... instead of grabbing the usual Cotton Candy flavoring to punch out the sweetness a bit... I unwittingly grabbed the Coconut flavor.

Didn't figure it until this morning. And WHOA! This is way better than what I usually mix up!

Serendipity!

Congratulations! Was that about 1-2%? I made some "Almond Joy" as per one of the recommended TFA recipes and it has way too much coconut at 8%. I found another recipe that calls for 4% which will probably work better. Pointless really, I don't even like Almond Joy, I prefer Mounds. :p

Next time I make a few bottles I'm giving Mounds a try, along with a "Slippery Nipple" recipe I stumbled across. BTW, I follow the TPA/TFA flavorings and recipes threads, good stuff in there to use as starting points for a beginner DIY'er with the right flavorings. I've only submitted one, and somebody called it an ADV. :) Nothing in those two threads compares to GMO's complex mixes, but that should be expected. ;)
