4: I have been taking vitamins daily to overcome getting sick. It is said that vitamins just go right through you and that is fairly true, it is better to take them right before bed so that they "sit" in you overnight and get absorbed more before getting up and going to the bathroom.
that is logical, never considered that before.

wifey sent me a msg a few hours ago that she is going to phx.
she was upset that she didnt get the job, and took off to visit her family 2 hours north..

make me wanna go out tonite......

Sorry about the bad news, LD. I'm sending good vibes to you and your wife.

I'm not in the greatest mood tonight so I'm just going to keep this short. I didn't plan very well, but I'm likely to take a trip to New York at the end of next week. Unlike the last time, I can actually afford to have a good time this trip. The last trip was barely 24 hours, and all I did was freeze my ... off. I'm also planning a trip to Minnesota in April. . .

LD sorry to hear about the wife. Wish there was more I could say.

DocTony... enjoy your trip. The weather still isn't the greatest but hopefully you won't freeze this time. April will be fun for you I am sure :) Here, I get excited if I get to make a trek to Costco which is about 3 hrs from here.

Thanks, Joan. Living on a small island, I get excited anytime I can travel. Sadly, part of every trip is shopping for things (including groceries) that I can't get easily at home. New York, though, has the added plus of live theater. . . I'm a theater junkie.

I lived in Southeast Alaska for 20+ yrs and it is all islands. You understand the idea of no roads that go anywhere but where you are. Only way out of there is boat or plane. Even Juneau, the capitol is like that. The other island I lived on was about 15 miles wide and 30 miles long at its widest spots and going to the end of the road was mile marker 13 on a logging road.
