BAD! BAD! UNCLE!!

I only wish that I was doing "more interesting" BED exercises!!

I'm getting used to the new facility. I've had 2 medical appts, yesterday and today. That means a half hour ride each way plus apt time in the worlds most uncomfortable wheel chair! exhausting!
I also had my first official PT session today. I LOVE it because it's getting me that much closer to my goal... the rehab hospital and prosthesis, etc. EVEN THOUGH, that was another 2 hours in the hated wheelchair! (we really are working on ways to make the darn thing more comfortable)
Well, off to bed because I'm exhausted in a good way and looking forward to a better tomorrow..

PS to Tony... you take care of your diabetes and avoid some of the problems I'm having!! Hit the gym hard and watch the nutrition!

Thanks, too, for your encouragement. I'm not diabetic, although it is likely in the cards for me if I don't get my diet/exercise back under control. I'm wondering if it's my mention of "low carb" that made you think this? I generally eat low carb, even if I'm not trying to lose weight, because it works for my body chemistry--emotionally and physically, in fact. There's something about the carbs (read: sugar) that is just tougher on me than most "normal" people. My partner, for example, does much better eating low fat (we're a little like Jack Spratt and his wife!). Although I'm not diabetic, I had a serious heart attack last fall when one of my coronary arteries was 100% blocked--that's my main motivation now.

Anyhow, I'm off for the night. . .

Ironically, I had been shopping earlier the same afternoon and I found a "key locator" on clearance. I thought of you when I saw that (and hour later lost my own keys).

I hope Ya' got one for "Yourself" and another for "LD" . . . ;)

And, yes, I did exercise. I pushed myself, though, and did 40 minutes. . . not bad for my first time back, I think. Honestly, I was motivated by this new gadget that counts my steps!

Bet "You're" Gonna be feel it by the time Ya' read this . . . ;)

@Doc,

Is it the low carbs that make you feel healthier, or lack of gluten from specific carbs?

It's not the gluten for me that's a problem, it's the sugars in general. I know a lot of people have gluten issues. I'm not one of them, fortunately (although, if I'm actually being "good" on my diet, I don't eat much gluten anyway).

I've never had this happen. Are you using Tapatalk (or whatever it's called)? I've never used that program, so I'm wondering if that's the issue. Weird.
