gang with all this talk about getting the country back I didn't see anything about the Bundy ranch,but then I may not have gone back far enough.

Welcome, OBG. Actually, this isn't really the norm for this thread. I've been consciously staying out of it because it could very easily turn into an ugly political discussion. Fortunately, the discussion has been very respectful so far--I hope it stays that way!.

Doc this and the old thread some of us used to take part of has had a few deep political discussions and even thou we may have very different views we've always remained respectfully of each other. That's one of the reasons I love this place.

Nite "Doc" - Hope Ya' had a REALLY GOOD conversation with SO . . .


AND - Although "You" have been here for some time now, to be totally honest - there have been many times the "Tree-Peeps" do have discussions like the one "We" had today, however the difference is that here no matter what the political/social views are of each individual - "WE" RESPECT Each Other . . .

More importantly, IMO (and I hope a number of other people feel the same way) - most people here feel safe to "voice" their opinions and viewpoints with each other, simply because the discussions never ever get heated - nor are there any disrespectful comments toward anyone . . . SO - The discussion are quite open, direct, and honest . . . AND - Like any other "Family" made up of varying people of different ages/socio-economic backgrounds/sexual orientations/genders/races/etc. - the one thing that stands out first and foremost - "We" Really Appreciate Each Other and Are Friends too . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Thanks to all the Tree Peeps for caring!

I've been having another medical problem for the past week or so which has diverted the focus from Rehab, but, after lots of testing, that focus is returning where it belongs!!
I've lost some strength during this past week because I couldn't do the PT necessary, but PT begins in earnest this morning. I expect to be in the Rehab Hosp next week.

All this has been quite a struggle, but, in a strange way, I'm not unhappy that it happened. The past 2 months have shown me that I'm a strong person, physically and mentally. I wasn't always. It has shown me how strong and loyal my Family and Friends are. It would have been easy to put me aside, but that didn't happen.
I'm a happy man because I know what I know. I have no doubts about the People I love and I have no doubts about the Future. I'm looking forward to that Future with much Joy and Anticipation!!

WOW!! How's that for waxing Philosophique!! There's just a Time that some things need to be said, and, for me, that time is today!
