11/19 - 2: Howdy ranger. Well the first finger I opened up under the swelling at home, on purpose, and thick ..... stuff came out. The finger from yesterday has pretty much stopped bleeding unless I aggravate it. I will be calling a friend Dr. to get some antibiotics prescribed, think I might have a infection.

Uh, yeah, yuck! If stuff is coming out, I think a physician would be a wise idea.

Don't mess around with an infection. 12 years ago I went in for what I thought was a minor infection in the finger. Figured they'd give me some pills and I'd be on my way. Had cellulitis creeping up my arm. Got admitted and spent a day and a half in the hospital getting IV antibiotics evey 4 hours. And still had the pills for 10 days after that. Now if I even think theres a possibility of infection I'm at the doc.

11/19 - 3: Well nothing changed on the first finger for a weak and then started to swell and discolor slightly. Then the swelling stopped growing and the pain subsided, so I thought I was in the clear. Just got off the phone with my friend Dr. and the prescription is called in for tomorrow, double dose on first intake and twice the length to be certain.
