Howdy Uncle!
Yes I got a full nites, medical induce, sleep. I wish I could get a normal nite's sleep but that hasn't happened for a long time. Maybe once I get back to work it'll help, I hope so.

Sorry, I worked graves for a couple years, I understand. That's crazy and awesome about Sunday delivery!11/30

Good morning treefam! So tired this morning closing shifts seriously mess up my sleep schedule.
Apparently the post office is delivering on Sundays now. We ordered some stuff from Amazon last Friday, and they just dropped it off a couple of minutes ago.
I agree with Uncle on this, but do think working will help.#4

I think Amazon worked out a deal with USPS regarding Sundays. Ironic, while USPS is trying to scale back delivery days because of costs, they actually add one to their schedule.

I looked at the USPS website, and it indicated that all packages will be delivered on Sundays.
To be honest, I'm kind of torn on the whole Sunday delivery thing. While I like getting my orders 7 days a week, I think it will end up being the norm, and yet more people will be jacked out of their weekend off.
Think about it. 10 years ago, most shops were closed on Sundays, and often dramatically shorter hours on Saturday. The world didn't end, we just planned ahead and made sure we had what we needed before the weekend. Now, because everywhere is open long hours seven days a week, a huge chunk of our population has a complete lack of consistency in their lives.
It's gotten to the point that places are open on Thanksgiving, and most other holidays. Three years ago, Lowe's was closed on Easter; two years ago, they asked for volunteers to work on Easter, last year, you worked it or risked losing your full time status for not having open availability. New hires (which I was) didn't have the option.
I'm actually in a better situation then many retail workers, though. We home school our kids, so even though I only get one weekend off a month, it doesn't make much of a difference, since we can do family outings whenever without messing up their school schedule. However, on principle, I am really quite opposed to adding more mandatory days to people's schedules.
