Called my dr and got my prescription for my Valium for this visit. Kinda funny cause the injections don't seem to do any good but once a month the Valium messes me up so bad it takes the pain away. I really dislike the pain pills though.
Ouch, I hate needles, best wishes!

Robin are you feeling any better?
The Dramamine seems to have helped some, but am going to take Xanax on my way home from work.
A co-worker's sister is experiencing similar symptoms since she quit smoking. She was prescribed anti-anxiety meds. It's all so strange.

I do have a doctor appointment Thursday, but feel like that's just gunna cost me time and money.

True dat! I used to request to be "knocked out", which of course they refused, but Valium or Xanax work well for taking the edge off. ;)

Not sure how I'm gonna do with the knees. Being face down I can't see the ones in my back. My knees have been popping with every step lately though so hopefully the shots will relieve some of the pain

I was traumatized by needles when I broke my elbow when I was 14. They need to repair it surgically and needed to draw blood. Being a teaching hospital, a med student was asked to do it and couldn't find a vein--until the seventh attempt. After surgery, they gave me four doses of codeine to attempt to deal with my post-surgical pain (they assured me that one dose usually knocks out an adult). When that failed, it took two shots of Demerol to relieve the pain...
