3. I'm deathly afraid of needles, I can't even watch anyone get one. If you are going to stick me, you have to hold or tie down whatever part you're going to stick because I will not voluntarily let you stick me. I cuss and cry, it's embarrassing, but I can't help it.

My day got a little brighter, just found out I won a new vape toy.

I usually watch whenever getting stuck by needles.
Never bothered me.
Was getting a blood draw once and the guy missed the vein then started digging. Told him to pull it out or he was going down. He took it out and started going for it again. He was going to try again when I calmly told him to back off or they would be carrying him out - thought he was gonna pee his pants. Got the draw done by someone else and the first guy got pulled out by the lead corpsman.
Worst one I ever had was when they shot some pain meds into the back of my hand for a broke finger - tender area and that stuff burned.

4. I watched them try to draw from my husband when he was in the hospital. Well, when they hit the vein something happened and blood spurted across the room. I about fainted, got dizzy and everything. My poor husband looked they he wanted to hit the nurse..lol.

Had spaghetti for dinner tonight, haven't cooked it in a few weeks now and I finally gave into my daughters whining and cooked it for her. She's been bugging me every night for a while to cook it. I got tired of eating it every week and stopped cooking it.

Another fun thing to do when they're gonna draw blood is to tell them that if they miss I get to try it on them.

I'm spending my evening with little precious angel again...her parents called me on the way home and asked me to keep her for a little while, and of course I wasn't going to say no...she's sleeping beside me right now (she's just like her daddy, she snores...or rather she snorts and squeaks a lot! )

My son is terrified of needles just turned 13. Always try to find ways to distract him when it's time for a poke. needles don't bother me much but watching my son terrified and not being able to do much about it that's a different story

Needles don't bother me...of course they've been a part of everyday life in this house for the past 14 years...my son was diagnosed as Type 1 diabetic when he was 9 so we've been giving shots around here for a long time.

5. Thanks for the congrats y'all! It's a vamo v6. I have a v5, so now I'll have 2 of every device I own except for the Aspire CF mod. Hubby will probably get the v6, he was eying the v5 tonight and asked where I got it. A friend gave it to me for Christmas. Only reason he didn't want the v5 is because it's rainbow..lol. He likes the style of it. His favorite device is the one that a lovely member of the treefam sent him when his Itaste vv3 was stolen. He prefers it over the vv3.

Angel, enjoy your sweet grandbaby! I miss snuggle time with mine. When they are little like that is the sweetest. I grew up watching my daddy give himself a shot several times a day, I'm still terrified of needles!

As I sit here looking at a 4" Black & Blue mark on "My" arm from having blood drawn over 2 weeks ago - I can't tell EVERYONE how enjoyable it is to read that I am not the only one that' doesn't like needles in any way shape or form . . . THANKFULLY - I do not have to take insulin yet as "Angel's" Son or all the other people in "My" Family do . . . NOT NICE ! ! !


Once again - For all of the 'Tree-Peeps" already gone to bed and those about to go . . .
