They cut us loose early but held off on telling us about it - what should've been an hour was only 25 min and had to scramble to get that much. They never think about those of us that have an early work schedule when they do this. At least I was able to beat the mad rush getting off base this time.

I hear ya. My boss usually let's us leave at noon the day before a major holiday. I say usually because he's been doing that since before I started, which will be 3 years this July 2nd. However, we're not to "plan" on it. Mind you, our vacation requests must not be less than two weeks prior to the dates requested off and are first come first served, with no more than 3 staff members out on any given day. If I could plan on those half-days, I would request them off to save myself a 2hr round trip drive for 2 hrs of work and to extend my holiday time off.

6/19 - 2: I hate the waiting game of figuring out what work will be for the day.

I've been there and it's no bueno! TGIF!

6/19 - 3: Just got off the phone with my lawyers office, and have found out that five attempts have been made to get her lawyer to finally draft the decree and send it over to my lawyer. Almost three months have passed and her lawyer has not been able to complete it. I also learned that once he is finished and we all sign and it goes before the judge, it will finally be over.

I know there are some, but not sure of all. I should hear from my lawyer directly today; and hopefully will get more answers. Problem is I do not want to go in front of the judge, as he is the worst in the area. I would rather have our agreement signed off on.

It rained all day here yesterday, pretty hard at times. On my way home from work I hit a pretty big puddle on the expressway, ripped my exhaust apart and tore the heat shield down. I kinda got the exhaust put back together this morning but the heat shield is still flapping against it.

YEP - From what I understand, that is exactly what will happen - especially if there are no further disagreements between the parties . . . AND - That is also absolutely what the Judge wants too . . . Everything done and over with so all the Judge has to do is sign the formal documents/decree that everything was settled between the complainants . . .

Of course sending - "GOOD VIBES" - "Your" way that this is settled sooner then later, especially so "YOU" can get some closure to all this too . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Tiggs...seems I remember that a lawyer can "pass" on a sitting judge....but I bet that has to be done early on in the case?....that's if there's more than ONE to choose from..(apologies as I haven't kept up with all the posts)...can't remember the legal term for it but will update if I do....always good to know
...if ya DO hafta go before THAT judge...our prayers will be with you that he will rise to his station and be fair....the Universe works in mysterious ways

...one last thot..some of those "deadlines" are stated on the legal paperwork....missing one of those deadlines can get them "sanctioned" (..penalty fees ,etc.... ...can't hurt to ask your lawyer if he can use them missing those deadlines to persuade them to "sign off" in lieu of sanctions ....just playin by the rules
