While flavor can change with different voltage output, another part of that equation is the resistance of your coil. 4.2 volts at 2.0 ohms will taste different (and by much cooler) than on a 1.0 ohm coil. You are also conflating the device (power output from an external or internal battery) with the topper: be it a clearomizer, cartomizer, tank, RTA, or dripper (RBA: ReBuildable atomizer). Different toppers produce differing amounts of flavor, airflow, and vapor, while the coils within them are built to varying resistances and require commensurate power from the device/mod. This means that you can (if you are so inclined) use a 2.0 coil in an RBA on a device as "lowly" as a fixed-voltage 650 mah ego. Just trying to help out you newbies...
