@KatzWh1skers

I haven't been able to find anything (Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place) The only thing I found is a 2 year anniversary party for one of the vape lounges.

And is this what is being talked about ? Here @Shawn Hoefer

Chibisaurus...if you're able to expand the post ....basically the gist was bypass the rda and get a $30 squonk..but to each their own...I feel ready for a squonk, after only having started vaping a few months ago...but everybody's needs and comfort zones are different....

Could someone tell me how to tag people in posts, I've been here long enough to where I should know, but at this point I was too afraid to ask, hahahaha..... :lol:

Oh, and does a giant snake wrapped around a tree stump count? :)

@Utsuru ...you mean "tag" as in like this this ? I just start typing the name and a list of users pops up... oh..and yeah,mister...Uncle has emoticons for folks who ask if it's ok to post snakes wrapped around trees!! :lol: ...jk...

@KatzWh1skers I'm still really new to the vaping, haha So I have been looking into getting an RDA because I got some 90%VG juice in my zamplebox and was told that it's better to drip those ... and Some of the box mods and such look amazing!

If I were to go with that... Could you recommend what battery to use for it ?

..well..looks like the squonk mentioned uses a 18650 battery....believe me, I am as new as you to this stuff. I was drawn to the RDA's for the same reason...I crave an intense flavor ...and so many flavs I have tried on my lil ole 4.2 V battery...are just meh ..for me. The squonks basically get you away from the constant need to drip as you vape...no dripping and driving :evil:......You know you can "cut" the 100% high VG jooses to thin them out for use in your tanks..but I haven't tried it yet....I don't wanna pass down wrong advise So I deferr to my more knowledgeable colleagues here...and I know there's a thread dedicated to mods here on the forum also :blush:

While flavor can change with different voltage output, another part of that equation is the resistance of your coil. 4.2 volts at 2.0 ohms will taste different (and by much cooler) than on a 1.0 ohm coil. You are also conflating the device (power output from an external or internal battery) with the topper: be it a clearomizer, cartomizer, tank, RTA, or dripper (RBA: ReBuildable atomizer). Different toppers produce differing amounts of flavor, airflow, and vapor, while the coils within them are built to varying resistances and require commensurate power from the device/mod. This means that you can (if you are so inclined) use a 2.0 coil in an RBA on a device as "lowly" as a fixed-voltage 650 mah ego. Just trying to help out you newbies...

..thanks Count. I was afraid of elaborating ..opening my noob mouth and spoutin somethin humiliating :blush: ...ah but what the heck :2cool: I
I'm gettin my nic fix..and that's good..but I'm wonderin where all the FLAVOR is! :evil: My next step up was going to be a VW ..like an iPOW Kanger with a naut mini ...then I found the squonks and am really leaning that way. Not alot of dough , so I have time to "shop"...So far, my best flavor experience on the cheap with the gear I have has been with a 1.5 ohm atty cart...brings my 4.2V up to a 7ish W...?? much better flavor...just alot of refilling :( ...and the cartos can't keep up with my monster draws :D..get so hot I hafta set em down for a while. Haven't experimented with other ohms...Heard the lower resitances can also burn up your batteries faster ....Learnin so much here :thumb:

Sorry Shawn I don't have a orchid but I was under the assumption that they were simular to a kayfun. I know on most kayfuns if you go much below 1 ohm the insulator under the positive post gets too hot and gives a nasty taste and possibly shorts out. I haven't heard of that problem with the orchid though.

Dear lord that awful taste... :shock:

I screwed up a few builds on the old original kanger protank and burnt the little rubber grommet a couple times, oh god the taste, the awful awful taste. Rebuilding those tiny things was one of the main reasons I went back to smoking, I really didn't like vaping. I'm having a much better transition this time around, however I need to purchase a backup asap as I'm always paranoid somethings going to happen to one of my two devices. I'm thinking about, although hesitant to, pull the trigger on buying this Sigelei 150w, with a coupon code it's like $63 shipped but it seems way too good to be true. So many people are vouching for them on reddit but I'm still leery, their website is sketchy as all-hell with grammar and spelling errors everywhere, I understand it's because she's Chinese but that is such a huge red flag and no way to have a business. I don't know... It's such a good deal though.
