If you want to use your liquid with tanks or carto tanks, it can't be more than 90VG. If you don't want to thin it with PG, you can use Pure Grain Alcohol (PGA) or distilled water (no more than 10%.)

I use 20PG/80VG all the time with Boge Cartos and in VVV tanks, Vivi Novas, nd C4's.

Not sure I could get pure grain alcohol here in NYS. The highest I think I can get in NYS is 100 proof. Would that work?

Vodka would work, I think. The idea is to thin the VG some without adding PG. 10% or less of distilled water would work too. Too much water will make it taste.. "watered down".. really!

Adding alcohol gives a killer throat-hit! Distilled water is better for thinning...AFAIK

I know this is an odd question..but I usually do not have distilled water around...how long will it keep...I mean if it is opened for a couple weeks should I boil it...or refrigerate it or both? I wouldn't want little microb's or stuff swimming around with my juice.
I have 90 proof vodka, is that good enough..like just a few drops in the tank?

watered down juice!? might as well vape crystal light!

I've seen a couple places offer their juice up to 80%VG 20% distilled water... It's not common, but I have seen it. ;-)
I've also been told that 1-2 drops/ml of vodka really brings up the TH on vapes that are weak in that area... I'd think 5-10% vodka would be painful.

Distilling water is a purification process. It's to eliminate other chemicals. It is no more at risk than the juice in the bottle, less actually as there is nothing for microbes to feed upon and everything is sterile and pasteurized at the plant.

edit: there's an experiment for ya, GMO... Make a bottle 20pg/80vg and one 90vg/10H2O with the same flavor-mix. See how they taste...

How about a 7 mo old bottle of distilled water in a musty basement? LOL. I don't have any PG base right now..so I guess for test purposes I would need that.

I tried flavorless VG & distilled water for a while and I didn't like it at all. Trying not to waste it after getting some PG free flavorings, it took way too much flavoring to counteract the 15% distilled water. Eventually I had to get rid of it, I think it was just too much water. It really doesn't take much water to make a super thick e-liquid work like a 50/50 mix. YMMV.

I have some "all natural, organic" PG free flavoring extracts from a Canadian vendor, I'm pretty sure they extract the flavors themselves. One flavor (Ambrosia) has what looks like 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper suspended in it after having it for about 2 months, unopened. I don't remember the black specs being there when it arrived. It has me worried.
