I make Wayne Walker's Bronuts all the time.
It uses Chocolate Glazed Doughnut from Cap, though.

Bump. I would love to find a good glazed donut with flavors you could switch out. I. E. Strawberry, chocolate, orange... So on.

This: Bronuts seems to be the gold standard of doughnut recipes. I would start with this as a foundation and sub your choice of "Glazed" in place of the CAP-Chocolate Glazed Doughnut (percentages will likely need to be tweaked) and add fruit to work toward your end goal. (Note: Capella has recently released their own Yellow Cake that has been getting some good press if the Flavor West YC is too scary for you).

Yeah I have very little in the way of flavors. I took a huge pay cut right when I started collecting supplies. My baby needs food and diapers before I get my fun stuff. So I'll get around to it.The curse of the DIYer!

Natedogg's Raging Donut (on ELR) is also another fine recipe, but you'll need even more flavors than you would with the Bronuts. Later, after you build up your arsenal of flavors, you may want to try it.
Thank you for that. I'm 23 a father, a husband, my wife is a stay at home mom and currently I'm in school. So I have a full plate but I make sure my bills are paid and my family is fed. Always my top priority. Don't know why some people can't do that. Hobbies, fun stuff and whatever you want happens less when you have a family lol. Glad to be part of a good community.Total respect. I bookmarked this one too - I just need some cream cheese icing then I will make it up. I thought it looked like a great basic doughnut recipe you could add any kind of single fruit to and change it up when the whim strikes
I'm going to try out that bronut but I have to sub the inw biscuit maybe nonna cake from FA or sugar cookie from cap good luck with the search for a good donut recipe. Trying to figure one out myself
