I'm in and nice job. I just did a few calcs-

With only 455 registered to the thread there is a $855,315.45 reduction in BT and excise tax indicated and 3,115,935 less cigarettes smoked. Let's just assume that was a million smokers converted to E cigs or snus. The numbers would be $1.879b not raised by cigarette sales (let alone the money not spent on NRT products) and 6.848b less cigarettes smoked.

No wonder they will do whatever they can to keep smokers smoking. If half the smokers went smokeless, what would the ?non-profit?"health" association do? 22 million less smokers at these numbers translates to $41b less money generated by cigarettes and 151b less butts in the street.

Incidentally, I found a 2008 number of over 17b packs sold in the US so these extrapolations could be low!

Nice, Have you spent any of your saved money on something fun?

Not yet..
But it sure is NICE to have $$$ in the bank when payday comes around..
FIrst time in my life (51 years) that I am not struggling pay check to pay check..
and my credit card balance is slowly coming DOWN :)

I did spend a bunch getting started on ecigs... probably wasted several hundred dollars on junk..
but now I have it under control and should spend less than a couple hundred total for the second year!
:p
