The ones I seem to be getting the Elmers flavor from are the premium carts, but not all of them. I usually notice it after the 3rd or 4th refill, I've used liquids from Totally Wicked, and also from Freedom Smokes, a couple different flavors from each place. It doesnt seem to matter which one I refill with.

I've noticed this with both blank cartos and with prefilled.

I've tried the cool carts too, but I honestly dont like em as they dont get hot enough to get a good throat hit in my experience. They also take a lot of primer puffs to get decent.
That explains it... I went through grade school in South Korea and the UK.

Plus you said "some" of your cartos.. Which ones? Regular, Premium, Coolcarts? Of a specific flavor? What are you refilling with? and how?

I totally agree with you on that, I was just wondering if it was something I could resolve to get another few refills out of them before tossing them. On other carts I can usually get about 6-8 refills before its time to toss em, but I get the glue taste on about 50% of them after 3-4 refills.

Also FYI I usually refill before they are empty so they don't dry out or burn in an attempt to prolong their service lives.

I wish I liked the cool carts more, they dont seem to have this problem, but they also dont satisfy me either.
They are disposable. If this happens just throw them out. If you are on your 3rd or 4th refill then you have gotten good use out of it, just chalk it up to bad luck.

I would like a mimeograph flavored carto, please.

Oh boy, did you just take me back a few years! That was the best teacher's helper job to have -- hand-cranking the mimeographed sheets for the class. So much better than cleaning the erasers!

Thanks for the nostalgia trip! I wonder if I would recognize that scent now? It's been a loooonnnnggg time...

In response to the OP I get that too, only when I fill too soon. I'll chain vape the first fill until I get a burnt taste and then let it sit for 20 minutes or so (burnt taste subsides some after resting) If I fill at that point it will get a persistent funky taste sooner. If I keep doing smaller sessions and don't fill until the funky taste persists I get a lot more fills from them. I think what you might be tasting is scorched ejuice, that builds up in the cart and pollutes the taste in the cart. Try not filling until its really needed. Might get more out of it that way.

I can smell the carcinogens in the air when you say that word. I am sure smelling that sweet inky smell causes cancer, and that is why they have taken them from us.

Funny, I remember when we were helping the workmen carry insulation out of the buildings in my gym class, they were removing it because it had some fire ......ent stuff in it, like was covering the walls in the science lab. I think it was called asbestos or something.:blink:

Funny how times change.

Any idea why some of my cartos taste like glue after a couple refills? They dont have the burnt taste, and the filler is not darkened like on some of the burnt cartos I've had. Is there a way to get rid of that taste?

I'm not sure if you're talking about the G base of the liquid or the rope wick and stuff, or not.
Are you using only Wow liquids?
The cartos which I only use Wow on, to me taste more like water. After a few refills, I think the filler and liquid are too wet and it's like a new juice flavor gets mixed in called Water. The G base flavor does seem to be there still, very slightly.
