VG Smilin Special Menthol?

Thought I'd try the VG cartos, just for kicks. No kick. Ick.
PM'd Mark but haven't heard back, haven't read any issues about 'em so I'm thinking maybe I just don't like the VG?

The first few "hits" are great, then after literally a minute they taste like burnt crayons, kind of waxy, was afraid to vape more on them thus rendering them un-refillable by burning the filler as it tasted like...seemed like they were underfilled? I expected them to be different but not to lose taste to burnt in a minute...anyone else? 8-o First time I've had issues with cartos and Murphy's law, I ordered 3 boxes!

It's the VG. Like I tell everyone who will listen, if you don't NEED the VG, then don't bother with it. You lose flavor and kick. You get more vapor, but thats about it. I love that they offer the carts for people with PG sensitivity, but folks shouldn't get them unless they need them.

I've only gone through one of the VG SSM. It didn't have any TH , but did have the most vapor I've seen. It seemed to last a little bit shorter than the normal carts. Maybe you got a bad carto?

The only downside for me with the VG SSM is that they produce too much vapor when I'm at work.

i've noticed that with the VG carts (and juice no less) that i have, as opposed to the PG. it's a shame as i ordered quite a bit of the VG, and i'll use it still, but i definitely thought at first they were underfilled, given the burnt crayon/waxy/eek! taste. now i just kind of deal with it, knowing what it is and i already bought them, but i'll be sticking to PG. i wanted to try it at least, though!

Can you half and half P.G. and V.G. juice? That would help the waxy taste. At least you will get your money's worth from them and boost the vapor in the P.G. juice.

idk, i got a pack of CMF cartos along with juice to match and the first cart was out in like 2 minutes, so i opened the second and it was dry. was able to get just about as much as if i filled a blank. have not looked at the other 3 but i suspect the same.

not complaining, just a heads up.

The VG is ok, but the flavor is not the same as the PG carts. I got VG Smilin Special Menthol because everyone raves about the PG version, and I'm just not tasting that "andes mint" thing - I taste spearmint. VG Mint just isn't the same as regular Mint. VG Cappuccino is not the same taste as regular. They're good, just not the same.

The VG carts seem to last just as long as regular carts to me. I really didn't notice any difference there.

Got a pack of the sampler V4L offers and although I enjoyed the increase in vapor there was a flavor loss to me. Also, wicking seems to be a problem as several times I tasted that familiar burnt taste, laid the cart down for a while, and then could vape it again without the burnt taste later. Don't know if these are full VG or just a very high concentration but will go back to regular PG carts as they put a little VG in them anyway.

If u use regular cart + pure VG liquid , do u still get the amount of vapor ur looking for and no flavor lost ?and how come I dont see any pure VG liquid on V4L webby ..

From the descriptions here it sound like one particular E9 cart vendor uses a lot of VG to get the "highest vapor production". I was using these and they also would get a burnt/waxy taste very quickly. And since the batting that they use in their carts are a kind of fibrous cardboard-y material it was difficult to tell if they were actually burned or not.

Oh well, my issues with those carts led me to this forum and to the V4L Vapor King! I'm so glad I did.

Feel better that I'm not alone, I've gone through oodles of V4L cartos with no issues until now...I refilled immediately with menthol PG juice and the cart took 23 drops! Same with the second and third I tried out of 15...

I'll try to get mileage out of the as semi-blanks but it was disappointing...thought V4L should know so's to check 'em out before having to ship and replace/deal with us!

Pretty much any VG liquid you use will not have the same flavor as PG, the VG liquids are coming soon to V4L.

So once again, all's well that ends well, just got another package from V4L today with order perfect as always and also alternatives to my packs of VG...

Thanks Mark and crew, I never needed VG thank goodness, just had wanted to try them...hope they get the flavor/content issue resolved for others that need it, but if you don't, I'd say "don't fix what ain't broke"!
