Oh my, you think I knew after only two days??? Kidding, ok -- have decided to go with a compromise between neutrality and still jazzing things up a bit. Would like to change the colors on BOTH orders, to:

Gloss DARK Blue (not the lighter one!!)

AND

Gloss Green.

:D:D:D:D:D:D

Also, for the GLV-1 batt cap I ordered in #207, could you pre-stretch the spring some (or whatever) for better batt contact? Mine is one of the older, longer-tubed GLVs, and with the new head cap I recently received for it, some of the smaller batts out there (e.g. AW, and especially the new AW IMR 16340) don't want to make or maintain contact. Those two are probably the only kind I'll be using in it anymore, so. (Might also have a go at the spring on my existing batt cap myself, tho I think someone said it's easier to mess up than one might think.)

So there we have it! Dark blue & green mini GLVs, and a pre-stretched/longer GLV-1 batt cap spring! Save all that to your desktop, clip it to the fridge & rearview mirror, write it on your hand, etc. ok? :D lol Thanks Jay!!

got it... dark blue and green and a pre stretched cap and spring... I made it rhyme to save time LOL.

Am I too late for the pre-order? How long do the special colors delay receipt of the order?
Also just which battery's do these use for 5V? Thanks

Orders will go to the shop tomorrow, but Ill let a few slip in before I powder coat. colors only delay things about a day or so ..I do them myself. The 5v uses 16340 cr123a battery x2 . Trustfire, or AW are the best iv seen so far.

I will likely order one on June 4th....

thank you very much for the rapid response.

Edited: One more thought.. on the laser etching.. can i choose the font? or for that matter what format(s) can you use for the etching? like could i create something in a vector based program and so long as it fit your dimensions could i use that?

My etcher would want to charge for that but I have done special etching for a few masons before so I think I can make something happen for you, but keep in mind it would be 25$ for a set up fee...thats what he charges. sorry about the bad pic.

In the drop down options for ordering... there is an option to select to make the GLV a 5v device (the option states a resistor is installed)

here is my question regarding this, is the resistor removable by the end user? (i.e me) and if so.. does that mean i have the option of at will switching between 5v and 6v?

Sorry if i have too many questions... its just that the GLV is a bit pricey for ME.. considering in the past month ive gone through a 510 Mega Kit... currently on an eGo (LR atty lifespan is disappointing me)... point is i think 5v vaping is the way to go ( i love my 5v PT) and i want 5v vaping "handheld"... just dont want to jump into any more purchases that ill soon "out grow" hope you understand.

No problem ask as many questions as you would like. the resistor is not removable unless your handy with a soldering iron. I can tell you tho this is a mod you wont grow out of and it will serve you well for a long time. To have a 6v you would need a different head cap, but If you find that 5v don't do it for you , and you want 6v,I can always remove the resistor and send it back.
