Hey Mist. Those are going to be really a nice added detail for the consumer of the GLV most people that own GLV's are deep thinking kind of people.(lol OK some aren't) so other than me a nice veneer on there GLV is just the next obvious step in making them look sweet. The GLV I am sending back to Jay for powder coating is NOT going to have etching on it. So I can see a nice wood Veneer on mine. I want doggies on mine though. lol I have teacup chihuahua's and a boxer. anyone else want DOGS on there veneer skin. lol
Love your work Mist. You and Jay should make a nice team on making these GLV's a household name.

Well I haven't sent it back to him yet. Does a powder coat make it harder to glue to it? because mine is just polished aluminum right now. But I would like it at least painted then veneer put on. I have two coming in the mail as we speak. (or I type) but those are etched and painted. so I don't think veneer will be a good idea for an etched one kind of defeats the purpose of etching.
But I would like wood on my woody you know...lol that's what I will call it after its veneered..

My wife has a Chihuahua/Jack Russel mix. I've never been a fan of small dogs, yours are cute for a Chihuahua i guess.. I've got a Weimaraner, smartest idiot dog I've ever seen.
