sorry the pics are kinda blurry. I love the GLV it does have a harder pull to it though. I know if I 1/4 turn it it should work better but when I do that it doesn't connect anyone have any good ideas?
thats a nice looking GLV you have there... i really love that color... just keep urz away from mine and we wont get them mixed up... lol...
I just ordered some from Nhaler the other day($9 for 5),I hope to get them in the mail today! I love the 801 attys....I just hope these will handle 5 and 6v as well!

Yeah Wiz, that's what they look like. Gotta keep 'em pretty wet at 6V. I haven't got my GLV2 yet so I don't have a 5V device to try them on. I bet they work good though. Mark @ M-vapes says they're about 2.5 Ohms.
I am surprised by the Ohms rating as I am not aware of any other 801 series at 2.5 ohms. I have seen or used the 801 LRs, regular and 801 HVs, BE112s in regular and LR and the 302s ad none of these meter at 2.5 ohms (at least none that I have metered).
At 6V, that would be pretty hot. I know that some people do use regular 2.5 ohms attys on 6V but if you go to the generalized formula: V x V/Ohms=Watts:
6V x 6V/2.5=14.4 watts That is waaaaaay hot for my taste. I think it kills flavor and burns VG. On 5V:
5V x 5V/2.5=10 watts to me this is doable but at the very upper edge of my comfort zone for heat (I have many all VG juices and VG burns at lower temps).
I am also a fan of the 801 series (but lean more to the 302 first and then the BE112 before the actual 801). These run in the 3.3 ohms range:
6V x 6V/3.3=10.9 watts (again, my upper limit)
5V x 5V/3.3=7.57 watts (8 Watts is my sweet spot).
Some of the 302s are more like 3.2 and that nudges it closer. On my 5V devices, I tend to reach for the 3.3 ohm attys.
I'll try some of these 801 cartos in my next madvapes order - mostly because I am curious.

Nebula, I haven't checked these myself so I don't know the exact resistance. I was going by what Mark wrote on the order page. I HAVE burnt juice with freshly charged RCR123s on this thing. It runs fine when the voltage drops off a bit though. I think it might be good at 5V.
Just a side note: I was using this 801 carto on a Riva batt with a 510/801 adapter this morning and the batt had a freakin' melt down! Got hot as hell and smelled like an electical fire. Nice, $20.00 battery, gone. Don't know if it was a crappy batt, bad adapter or what. I put the adapter and carto on one of my home made mods with an 18650 in it and it still works fine. Maybe that battery was going to go anyway.

Mist, Sorry to hear about your Riva loss. I'd throw a meter on those cartos.
As I said, I am curious but not much of a carto fan. I have several boxes of 510 and 808 cartos that I ordered early on in my vaping and never reach for them. I also have a box of the ego cartos. Tried one and it is convenient (holds lots of juice) but haven't used the others because I have Journeyman feeder mods that I use on the go and mostly drip at home (easier to alternate juices ).
I have not tried this yet but have read of others cutting off the "skirt" on the ego cartos so they can be used on mods sans adapters. Looks like it might be a tight fit to the GLV button. If anyone uses the ego cartos, when you kill one, perhaps try cutting off the skirt and see if it will fit. But, on the same note, those ego cartos have a lot of plastic and the GLV hits harder than my other 5V devices. I might be concerned about melting the plastic of the ego carto while using on GLV2 at 5 or 6V. At 3.7, I bet it would be awesome.

I am right there with you on that concern. Ifigure IF something goes wrong its got to be in the top cap so am wondering about just ordering that part as my back up. Has anyone done that yet?

Its much bigger than i imagined... does one side of it have a vertical pattern in it? or that a reflection?
i believe it is a 6ml bottle inside it... and it is the GLV Signature Flavor Watermelon Gum from Ms. T's...
