I've just about made up my mind to return my GreenSmoke and order the GLV-2 5V. What is the approximate wait time on these? I'd would like to time so that I can keep the GS til I receive the GLV-2. Also where are some good places to order carts and atomizers? I'd like to put together an order of everything that I'll need to start up as soon as the GLV-2 arrives. Any reccommendations for prefilled carts? Thanks.

If you're new to vaping you might want to consider starting with a 3.7v device. There are many more options when it comes to cartomizers and atomizers when starting with a 3.7v instead of jumping right in with a 5v or 6v device. Plus most eLiquids are taste tested on 3.7v devices, so YMMV when it comes to flavor on a 5v or 6v device.

I personally would get either a GLV-2 Mini or GLV-2 Super Mini at 3.7v and pickup a couple AW LiFePO4 3.2v batteries and a couple AW Protected 3.7v batteries. This way you can run at the standard KR8 and 510 voltages. Gives you a bunch of options.

Will the Mini produce close to the GLV-2? I dont want to keep upgrading. I would much rather just start out with a good high producing model. Why would you advise me to go with a 3.7? What are the limitations of the 5V? Arent there quite a few options with the GLV2 also? Im new to this stuff so your feedback is much appreciated. I just received a Greensmoke and its not cutting it at all. To much trouble to get a decent hit and when you do it still isnt much of a hit. I just dont want to keep playing around with lesser vaporizers. I want a good one from the start, Ive been smoking for over 30yrs. I want something that will give me a good satisfying hit without having to work for it, help!

Based on this, I suggest the 5v model. Many of us have spent a lot of time and money moving from basic starter kits to eGo/Riva styles to mods of varying voltage so I fully understand wanting to go straight to the best. I wish someone had told me to stop experimenting, decide on which mod I liked best, and just go for it. From day one I wanted a GLV-2 but kept putting it off.

I have a 3.7v Mini and full size 5v. Some juices do taste better with "normal" resistance atties & cartos on the Mini and with LR atties & cartos you can get vapor and throat hit that's comparable to the 5v so with the right mix of accessories, the Mini can provide the same overall experience. Switching between the two is my answer to variable voltage!

The Mini is handy and I use it daily but the 5v is, for many of us, the Holy Grail. Order one, you won't regret it; it's well worth the wait and you'll never want to put it down.

Thanks for that post. Im glad someone understands where Im coming from. I dont want to watse my time and money on constant upgrades. If the GLV2 does what people claim then its the one for me. Why would I want to try something lesser first? I have already tried the Greensmoke (the only reason I tried this product first was because of the 30 money back guarantee) and it will be sent back. I appreciate all replys you guys have really been a great source of info. I was able to shorten my search time for a vaporizer. It would have taken me alot longer to find and research a product without this forum. Im still curious; does anyone know how long the wait time is on the GLV2?

It really depends on the options you choose like color, custom etching, clear-coat, "regular" chrome caps or powder-coated, Jay's current inventory, number of others on order, etc.

For example, I believe custom etching on the body is done in lots of twenty or more so that option can extend the production time.

I received mine (Nebula Green with basic chrome caps and no custom etching) six business days after ordering. Transit only took one day because I'm only a couple of towns away so under the same circumstances, you'd probably get yours in about ten business days.

With the release of the Super Mini, Jay is probably very busy so it may take a little longer but it's understandable since all GLVs are made-to-order.

I'm pretty sure if you call or email Jay and let him know exactly what you'd like to order he could give you an accurate time-frame.
