GLV for free contest 10/11- 10/18/2010

Entering for my shot at the GLV... Mama needs a new PV and a GLV would hit the spot, esp with the amazing colors a friend described to me when checking the page out for me to see what I couldn't...
BTW, the colors are great. The dark blue metallic described to me sound identical to the metallic coat of color DH used when he painted his 67' Firebird when restoring it from top to bottom and bumper to bumper. I'm only sad he sold it to cover the down payment on our house. Although, it did give him a chance later to complete restore an 81' Corvette, which he painted in the factory color of metallic silver. That little baby opened the doors, no pun intended, to allowing him to buy back the car his brother gave him as his 1st car to drive when he passed the test for his driver's license.
He's restored the 1960-something Corvair with a blue color but I'm not sure of the specifics about the car b/c he did most of the restoration at a shop he and his brother shared. I know it has all original parts except for the emblems as they are impossible to find intact w/o buying replacement but all the rest is original right down to the AM radio. The few times we go out in it these last couple years has been in a few parades and at car shows where he's received a personal invite so others can see the car as it is in mint condition.
My friend says the Red Candy Silver color and the Black Starlight would be perfect for me. LOL! maybe I'll have a chance to find out.
