GLV Makeover

OK I have talked with Jay and Sara and I am going to be sending my Mini back for a makeover. Right now it is the Nebula Green w/Silver end caps. I am having the green removed and having it powder coated the matte black, including the end caps (thank you Freaky). I have always wanted it that way, but since I traded for it had no choice on the color. Now after seeing Freaky's I know what it will look like.

I can just picture it all black, with a black Boge carto and a freakin bright red drip tip! now to me that will look bad ...!

Now if only I can survive on a 510 during this time, gonna be rough.....LOL

It's hard to picture what the perfect look is. I'm actually growing fond of it just being black . . . I may not fancy it up after all. Maybe I'll keep it this way and fancy up the one I win in the contest.

LOL, if I ever get the 5v I will. The Mini's are to small for custom etching.

Just a note about the all black that I forgot about . . . the powder coat covers the GLV etching on the headcap so that you basically can't see it. This kind of made me sad when it arrived, but since it performs so great, I forgot about it.

basically can't see it? Did you have it re-etched in? I talked with Jay about doing that on mine.

The powder coat went on after the etching and I didn't even think about it covering the etching, so I didn't ask to have it done after the paint. I'm sure the head caps come pre etched when he orders them. I like the look a lot, but it would be nice to have the GLV logo on it.

Well my Green Mini (the Mini Hulk) will be leaving tomorrow for its makeover from Jay! It will come back as Spawn! Or maybe I will just name it CASH! LOL

I was tempted to wait and get a Super Mini and then send it in but just can't wait since it still looks like a short wait on them. After talking with Jay and Sara I don't think it will take long to get back. Then I can oder my Super in matching matte black!

That sounds like a good plan.I keep looking at the super Mini,I really want one.I think it would be perfect for work if it has a lanyard.Im always setting mine down and then freaking because I cant find it.I think the Super Mini would be better if its hanging around my neck.

I preordered my Super with a lanyard and was actually second-guessing the lanyard all day today, until I saw your post Keyzy. I am same way, constantly setting them down in odd spots.
