On the switch it reads:
Otto 21649

I'm trying to locate a replacement so I can repair my GLV Super Mini. I've written support THREE TIMES and no response so I'm through asking them for help and will do it myself....one way or another.

I could go on and on and rant but it's not worth it.

...just want to find a switch and be done with this company for good.

Thanks to anyone with a source.

My switch is bad too. This will be the second time I send my glv in for service. The first time I had it back within two weeks and that is when the GLV3 came out....

I was on my way out and seen this. PLEASE CALL ME . Repairs are going out in 1-3 days now...most cases next day. It is very rare to get a bad button , but they can sometimes come lose. Its a real easy to fix. If your button is broke, make sure you call me . There is a life time on the button. It should never not fire.....5 million click life. Ok Im off to make GLVs, and Im doing the orders from the 10th thru today, so heads up.

Try pulling up the bottom spring up a little so there is more pressure with the battery hitting the switch connection. Because some 16340 batteries have slightly different sizes I have found the the spring needs a slight adjustment to make contact. It may not be the switch.

Thanks for proving my point for me. I can't get a response to THREE requests, post the issue here....and you ignore my situation and respond to Landlord. If this thread helps him, I am thankful for that......

Amazing lack of consideration on your part....simply amazing.

Oh crap now i feel like i hijacked your thread.. I was just trying to let you know how fast i got the unit back last time i sent it in.. Sorry if i caused him to over look your situation.. That was not my intention..

Not to worry....I'm happy you got a response.

Having spent 30 years in business I know a bit about customer service so based on my experience with this company I'd classify their performance as pathetic.

I located a replacement switch and installed it....works perfectly. If anyone needs to replace theirs and doesn't want to waste their time with GLV's "support", PM me and I'll send the info on where to get one.

Close or delete this thread if a Mod so desires; I'm dusting off my shoes and moving on......
