I need to find a place to buy the resistor. I'm not sure what brand, I only know that its a 1ohm....any help would be great! I heard Radio Shack? Not sure, thanks

It's a 1ohm 1watt resistor
There are plenty of electronics companies that have them
You will look for the blueish grey colored one, I think ceramic.

Totally frustrated. Found a thread that said the GLV 5v takes a 1 ohm 2 watt resistor. I can find one, but seems they only come in a carbon film type, not a ceramic. I wish someone would chime in and assist so I can get this thing back together and get him vaping! Anyone? PLease help! Can someone confirm if its 1o 2w? or 1o 1w? any links you can provide?

I read in another thread he said 1 ohm 2 watt...don't think the difference is that great where its gonna cause damage?

1ohm 2 watt for the 5 volt ....2 ohm 2 watt is the next drop down for the 3.7-4.2 volt . For this math to work you need x2 3.6-3.7 volt batteries. we resist down from 8v ish

Yep, it´s a resistor. It turns current to heat.

Is there usually a limitation to the heat? I know they have a tolerance, but I'm not sure what the rating on this one is.
