...interesting; I had always assumed the 6V didn't have a resistor and would take two 3V or 3.2V CR123A, e.g. lifepo4 (those are what I have for a different unresistored 6V mod). So does this mean that the head cap from the 3.6V mini actually is different from the one that comes on the 6V GLV, since the mini's cap can be used at 6V as well (as long as one also has the larger batt tube to go with that setup)?

Miss, you can use the mini head on the larger tube with 2 3.2 or 3.6 battys and get 6v from it. I have done it. Although I don't care for 6v without a HV atty. Works out fine using 3.2 LIFEPO4 batts or the 3.6 or 3.7 batts. Whatever you have. I would use, as Jay said, the 3.6 16340s for 5v vaping since the head on that device has a resistor or if using 6v a HV atty for 7.2v vaping.

Ha ha doots, when I post about anything technical, if someone quotes me within a few minutes of it chances are good I'll be in the process of editing by then. :p (Happened in this case but didn't really change anything lol.)

Anyway, I have brain fog today but what I really meant to say/ask was different from how it came out. I'm not actually interested in using my mini at 6V (already know 6V isn't for me, and have been doing GLV 5V since last year), I just wanted to make sure Joy would know all her batt options including one that seems most logical: Jay told Joy to get 3.6V batts, but if she already knows that what she wants is to vape at 6V, not 7V+ nor to always need special HV atties to get the voltage back around 6V, it seems maybe she'd be better off just getting 3/3.2V batts in the first place... (I know those batts won't be enough to run a resistored 5V GLV as long/well, but for 6V I thought they were ideal; that's what's always been recommended in the resistor-less 6V mods I've had and considered in the past anyway.)
