Nothing wrong with Altsmoke or the BB but whether it's now or later, every vaper should get a 5v GLV-2.

While the resistor limits it to 5v, it's the only PV on the market (if there are others they haven't been identified) that provides a consistent 10.5 - 11 watts regardless of what resistance atty carto you use.

    In a nutshell:

That's a pretty amazing feat and my GLVs give me a simpler and better vape than a VV.

And like Boodle pointed out, a LR atty/carto on a GLV Mini or Super Mini gives you very similar performance.

You owe it to yourself to get a GLV-2.

The question is who in the world wants to vape @ 11 watts!?!

I would love to recommend the GLV because 5V is really the "sweet spot" for most atomizers, but I am so very very jealous of the above picture that I cannot imagine wanting anything else. I believe that is owned by Jack from VaporCast so it's probably filled with Adam's Apple making it truly the perfect "all day vape".

I'm not looking for any droids right now and mine aren't for sale...but that's the mod I'm looking for. ;)

Actually that one is owned by Jason at Electronicstix

Electronicstix will engrave your mod to look just the way you want it.
    Here's mine:

Yes, and I don't even care much for 9 watts. 8 +/- 0.3 is my sweet spot.

11 watts = TH with no taste in my book.

Well, flavor is very subjective and it really depends on the juice. Some juices lose their flavor at 11Watts and some are just getting started. ;) If 8W is your sweet spot, you might want to try the low resistance DualCoil Cartomizers. The reason higher wattages start to lose flavor is because they have enough power to vaporize more liquid than can be efficiently wicked to the coil so it can get hot to produce the big throat hit but it can destroy the flavor. Dual coils are wired in parallel so although the total resistance of the carto is 1.5ohm, there are actually two 3ohm coils... So a DCC at 4.9V would actually produce 16W, but that would be like 2x3ohms at 8W each. ;)

<--- chimes in with "get both!"

The SB is a workhorse and it's battery life is outstanding.
The GLV2mini is so ergonomic and adorably irrisistable.

You can get your other GLV later or other color of SB later.... but one of each for now covers all basis.

<--- has BSB and loves it!! yet, still drools over the GLV super-mini's.... and will get one yet if it's the last thing I ever do!

My intent is not to derail this topic...but....looking at new mods myself and these are 2 of the 3 that I'm considering. The third, and probably the frontrunner, is the 5 volt regulated "high powered" sabertouch.
Anyone have any experience with this one in addition to the Glv and Bullet??? I really like the passthru option...they are WAY pretty and have a 5 year warranty.
Can't afford to buy everything I would like, but want a great affordable mod that won't give me "buyers regret" down the road.

I bought the silver bullet after days and days of researching cause I didn't want to deal with customer support. Some day maybe it will break, but it seems pretty damn well built and straight forward bullet proof. Someday after i get over my shell shock of cash loss early crossover from analog to digital I'll buy something else, but I am guessing the Silver Bullet will still be working just fine. Haven't tried the GLV2 so won't comment on that. May be a great device too.

Luckily I got too try a GLV2 5V and an SB and a hand full of other mode including a monkey box and one the red sky mods, an xhaler, we've got a few friends with all those devices, so we lucked out a lot, (also made it incredibly hard too pick haha) but I'm real happy with our choices and so is she :) as for turtle0525, I don't know much about the sabertouch but if your after a warranty then GLV They come with Lifetime warranties, and everyone I've ever met with a silver bullet there seriously pretty unbreakable haha, and for the passthru the GLV and SB, both those battles will last you longer then a day possibly more depending on how much you vape, and my experience with my only passthru is pretty good its an ego, but ill gibe you the advice my friend Tim gave me and two others that every passthru they had endd up failing them and breaking, but again my ego worked great and, the ones they had were an ego and I can't remember the others (they all wrnt ego batterys) but basically pick what you want and what you think will work best for you ppl can tell you anything but you are the one who picks and uses it so get what you think will work the best for you and don't worry you didn't derail anything, vape on man !
