Has any one converted there GLV3 5v from Bottom feed to Top feed.

I have a few questions.

1. Do you need to remove the pin for the bottom feed and if yes how.

2. Got a Set screw and a little ornge ball what is that for.

3. I did not get an O-Ring for the DT dose any one know the size so I can pick one up locally.

Thanks in advance.

Has any one converted there GLV3 5v from Bottom feed to Top feed.

I have a few questions.

1. Do you need to remove the pin for the bottom feed and if yes how. Yes, see #2, watch this mini vid http://youtu.be/i-XKc6Gabgc he shows how to put it on, I think I would reverse this to take it off. He shows it at about 5 minutes in.

2. Got a Set screw and a little ornge ball what is that for. Place orange ball in bottom of where the atty goes, screw in the set screw. This allows for atty adjustments to fit all attys/cartos. Now there's no hole for the bottom feed pin to fit through.

3. I did not get an O-Ring for the DT dose any one know the size so I can pick one up locally. Me neither but it fits snugly on my atty's sorry can't help here.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry for as little help this was.

I'm still nic buzzing on the bottom feeder......let me know how the top feeder goes. If there's a difference in the juice at all. What atty/carto's are you using? What ohms? I am soooo loving this thing!

Yeah, I'm interssted too. I can't bring myself to reconfigure the feed system. I can barely put it down long enough to refill my bottle!

I got mine set up for top feeding and it works well. I did flood it and it was a mess. but a 510 to 510 adapter and a Drip shield fixed that :)

All in all I like the top feed. took a little doing to get it there.

Has any one had issues with getting the DT to work on there attys. I had to dig to find one that would work. it was to small to work on most my attys.

Seemed to fit okay on IKV HV atty I tried it on. Of course, the tubing wasn't connected but the tip seemed to fit snugly enough, even without the O-ring and that's really all I was checking, just to see if it would be snug enough to use when I feel froggy enough to reconfigure the feed system..

It will not work on my Cisco's I did find a Boge that it will fit snug on and will not pull off. I need to get some O-Rings and see if I can find the right one that will for for most my attys.

I may just mod one of my Supper T Delrin long wide mouth DT's and be done with it I have a bunch of them.
